Hi Nexians,

I am in the midst of conducting my first mescaline extraction from freshly harvested t. pachanoi (1.75kg) that I have been growing for the last 5 years.

I have carried out an A/B extraction with d-limonene to extract the alkaloids from the basified (NaOH) solution. The limonene is bright yellow. I have now salted approximately 300ml of limonene 5 times with 75ml of distilled water + 3 drops of 30% HCl.

Is the limonene supposed to remain yellow in colour after salting it numerous times?

The attached picture is after salting 5 times, and with a 6th HCl solution in with the limonene.

Yep that is fine for your NP to remain colored, though usually your salt solution will take on some of its color as well.

All things I say are complete and utter ramblings of nonsense. Do not consider taking anything iterated from the depths of my subconsciousness rationally and/or seriously.
