Hello guys and gals,

I need some non-copyrighted track to put in a video that explains the overview workings of the Analysis Kit.

Better if it´s not too cluttered music. Anything that sets a nice atmosphere without being too much ´in your face´.

The video will be featured on the main website for the kit, and obviously due credit will be given to whoever makes it, at the end of the video and/or wherever appropriate, though monetary compensation is not a possibility atm unfortunately.

Hopefully someone can help us out here Smile Feel free to pm me (or vodsel) about it or post here.

Thank you very much!!

I just want to add that it doesn't have to be a long track, since it will be edited along with the video content and we can loop it if necessary. Delivery should be stereo AIFF/WAV file.

We are already working in the piece and look forward to your help. Bring on suggestions Thumbs up

Your best bet is Creative Commons music, since there are about 350,000 tracks to choose from, all free.

Simply search for Creative Commons "Attribution" music on Vimeo http://vimeo.com/musicstore and/or at http://www.jamendo.com/en/ (use "advanced search" to make sure your search results contain only such-licensed tracks).

IF your video is non-commercial, you can also search for Attribution-NonCommercial Creative Commons tracks, which are more numerous and will expand your choices.

The only thing required by a Creative Commons track when used is to give credit (name of the artist, title of the track/album, preferably a link too to where you found it). That's it.

Thank you Handel, I am aware of CC. That was one option, but endlessness pointed out that we have a big community with plenty of people who produce music of their own, and we thought some of them might like the idea of contributing to the analysis kit project.
