Hello and good evening to all!

So, I just got a bearded dragon. I couldn't think of any better people to help me name him than my supportive community here on the Nexus! I know you all will have some creative and interesting names to suggest. I don't want to name him some boring average name Razz
I will definitely update after seeing his personality to help spark any ideas. I would love to have a unique name for him that has an interesting meaning behind it too. Thank you all for your help! Big grin

Let the naming begin!

Nice! I love reptiles, I have a Jungle Carpet Python myself Smile
I named him Waffles for fun. Bagels is also a good one.... I apparently have a thing for naming animals after breakfast food Laughing

Got the picture up finally! It must have been hiding somewhere...

Very good suggestions.. I like Shulgin alot, very clever Razz I does sound pretty perfect
Diablilo is awesome too! Never heard that before, which is just what I was goin for Thumbs up

I knew you guys would help me think outside the box.

I was almost thinking of some pali or sanskrit name that means something that fits his personality. But I could go for any crazy name that fits him as well. What do ya think??

I just looked up a jungle carpet python.. that looks crazy with those colors! So beautiful!

I got to hold a bunch of snakes and other wild animals while finding the right beardie. I actually got to hold an anaconda... never realized how sweet snakes are, but they would definitely take some time for me to get use to if I ever got one Razz

He looks great, congrats! Thumbs up Bearded dragons always look so curious with their eyes

Yeah, the JCP's have pretty interesting colours, Australia has such insane wildlife.

Wow that must have been pretty neat, I've seen anacondas in captivity but I've never held one. I've been into snakes since my childhood so I've grown quite used to them. They can be pretty quirky sometimes.

I think he needs a proper dragon name.
I would name him:

Tianlong
(Chinese: 天龍; Wade–Giles: t'ien-lung; literally "heavenly dragon" ) Pleased
celestial dragon that guards heavenly palaces and pulls divine chariots; also a name for the constellation Draco.

Check out the list on Wiki, there are more.

I think you should wait until you see how his (her?) character develops and then name him accordingly. At first glance he looks like he could be called Graham or maybe Bryan. I think Dorian would be nice too. Or if he is a she ...Sandra or Ermintrude. In fact i would probably go for Ermintrude if she was a male and damn the consequences.

dragons of middle earth

Im thinking Glaurung if its a boy. Glaurung is the father of dragons in Tolkiens universe. He has four legs, no wings, and breaths fire Cool
