healing yourself in order that you may take medicine is putting the cart before the horse, imo

I do agree with that statement, but i dont find this to always be the case. With a potential medicine such as dmt, i could see how more damage could be done if one wasnt properly prepared to integrate the experience. Also dmt might only be able to help a person with certain aspects of their life, so i might be necessary to do certain work before.....I know i am making this very complicated, but thats how i see it.Confused Personally there I have been a few times where i probably should not have smoked because i needed to get some things about my self and my life sorted out first, and i made it more difficult for myself to heal(mentally/emotionally). But it all turned out well in the end.

Hello Smile my question is or well let me explain it....

I have been smoking cigarettes for around two years now.... It is something I picked up in college during stressful times... I am very well aware of the damages it does to ones lungs and heart.... I can already feel my lungs damaged just from two years of smoking....

heres the question...

Would it be wise to have a dmt experience while under the addiction of tobacco....
I would really like your input on this but here's how I feel about it....

I love smoking and I hate smoking... some days it really slows my mind down when I am smoking.... some days I smoke out of anger and when I am smoking I am kind o self loathing...

I feel like I am burning myself out of existence and I am.... that might change the day I get a family of my own one day but right now when I wake up in the morning the urge is just... excuse me... just so damn powerful... I have to...

However before I go through with dmt in the future.... I would like to have a healthy heart and healthy mind... that means no smoking... eating healthy... exercising... and lots and lots of meditation...

I would really appreciate your advice... thank you for your time....

Much love and wisdom

Physical dependence of anything while going far out will in a sense keep 'you' connected to your physical form. I would still say go for it and maybe ask for some help in the realm

it most certainly helps with addiction.

i am of the opinion that DMT is the catalyst, not the answer, but that is just me.

I had been smoking for about 9 years straight ranging from half a pack to a pack a day (depending on what was going on in my life). Today I have just over a month without a cigarette and I feel better than I have in a long time. I can say with resolution that my work with psychedelics, namely lsd and dmt have raised my level of gratitude for life ten fold bringing me to the conclusion that smoking those suffocating, smelly disgusting things is a big slap in the face to the biggest gift that any of us have ever been granted, and that is life. Fresh air is so much stronger and better of a high than Nicotene could ever hope to be. Some times you just gatta travel through the darkness to see the light Pleased Also I wouldn't worry about blasting off while in the midst of being addicted to cigarettes. I wouldn't recommend blasting off while your quitting and your minds chemicals are all imbalanced though. But yeah I've smoked cigarettes right before trips as well as immediately after with no pronounced adverse effects, other than it tasting and smelling gross like usual....funny i never hated the smell and taste so much until some pronounced trips Smile
