Anyone experienced Alien Identity Disorder, AKA A.I.D.?

Of course, the logical extension of this for dramatic purposes would be protest rallies and demanding equality along the lines of transgender individuals who feel misplaced in the body they've been given. (I'm not trashing transgender folks--I fully support an expansive understanding of human rights.)
