what a nice welcome! thank you...
what brings me here? my journey brings me here. i'm looking for my healing and i'm finding it in all the plants that i so love and esteem. my gardens are being created around me to help heal and feed myself and the people that i encounter. hence the name "curandero garden". being a doctor, healer, lover of pachamama and her creation's caregiver plays somewhere in the mix of who i am. i've never had any DMT experience and i figure a place that speaks honestly and respectfully about consciousness and the plants that we are given to help us achieve our healings and awakenings is the place to start. i've been evolving towards broader awareness thru the years of "walking the walk".

) and since my childhood the need to "come home" to the amazon has been gnawing at me. i'm beginning to understand those visions. it's the universe nudging me.
i'm making my way to mexico in a few months for some time with some pretty awesome curanderos and curanderas. next year it's the amazon of something of that sorts...
so that link that you posted in your message does take me to the Garbage Warrior movie... i'd seen it before - which is part of the reason that i live in one of these homes.
honestly - i sold everything i owned and set out on a new path. my third eye being split wide open while living in nyc. what was i doing there when i wasn't fulfilling my calling? i'm still walking that path and discovering new things on the way...
as for the earthship - living in this kind of home leaves nothing to be desired. it's the most comfortable, sensible house i've ever lived in. there are some limitations with the size of the greenhouse gardens - you can't grow all of your family's food in that small space. but creating gardens outside of this kind of home comes with ease. as for water collection - i've got a well. where it rains consistently this house is much easier to have. in dryer areas - you need a well.
and then the weather extremes - as for winter nights with below freezing weather, we had -20 degrees F our first winter, not a problem. it was at it's coldest, 69 degrees Farenheit inside the house. Summer heat - not a problem. there are these cooling tubes that a burried within the earth berm that draw cool air into the house. completely passive air conditioning! this house is amazing. and i love the thought that i'm living in organic surroundings. every inch of this house was touched by, shaped and formed by a pair of human hands. those peoples' spirits are here with me always. we came together for 7 weeks of creation!
part of the entire change was health related. i needed to grow my own food. i've got an organic garden evolving outside my doors... we started feeding the community we live in this season. let's see where this goes.

alrighty folks. guess we'll carry on later.
btw - if any of you can suggest where i can search for some grassroots healers in the amazon that work with Aya i'd greatly appreciate it.
peace and light,
