Hi All

Reading through the threads there is a lot of great info but being a newbie I'm finding some conflicting advice so have a few queries.

Having successfully followed Norman STB Tek i have 620MG Spice from 100G MH bark.
Ive tried a 30mg dose and its pretty insane!

So I want to try both Changa and enhanced leaf for a prolonged journey, i planned to start with enhanced leaf.

I have some Blue Lotus and Dream Herb and what i thought i ordered in Caapi Leaf, however it turns out to be White shredded vine, so i guess its changa first.

I plan to use this extraction tek to gain some harmala alkaloids from the vine, which ill add to the spice infused dream herb and blue lotus.

So question is, for a newbie, how much of the extracted harmala should I add to the spice infused herb, should this be at the same time i add the spice for evaporating/infusing into the other leaf or do i just add it after into the bowl for smoking.

I know a 1:1 ratio is recommended for spice to leaf but to test the water I may go with the DMT Handbook advice and do a 2:3 ratio, which leaves me with the harmala ratio to figure out.

Also lastly when i do get my Caapi Leaf in there is quite a lot of different opinions about what to use as the solvent to do a 10 or 11x leaf reduction, Ethyl Alcohol is recommended in this tek,

however it is taxed to high heaven in the UK and almost impossible to get hold of.

My options are:
Isopropol (IPA) / Acetone - but many people say never use these.
Methanol
Bio Ethanol

Bio ethanol doesnt seem to be talked about so guessing its useless.

Lastly as im extracting from vine to add to the Changa mix is a 10/11x caapi reduction even necessary for the experience - i have read leaf and vine offer different experiences though.

Thank you all kindly in advance - this is truly a wonderful resource.
Smile

enhanced leaf will not provide you with a longer journey, as it contains no MAOi...
as for the extracted harmalas, you could infuse them into your herb/spice mix or you could smoke/vaporize them before you smoke spice or changa...taking them orally before smoking spice/changa also works...
as far as dosage goes, there would of course be a difference between oral dosage and smoking/vaporizing...much has already been written about this matter elsewhere in these pages and since I don't know by heart you'll have to look it up yourself Pleased

isopropyl works, i can't imagine why someone would say it doesn't work.
it is what i use.

methanol works as well.

i am not familiar with bio ethanol, but as long as it evaporates clean, i would be extremely surprised if it didn't work.

if you are infusing your changa with harmalas, there is no need to turn your caapi leaf into 11x (but you can if you want)
as far as the ratio of harmalas:infused leaf, i am of no use, as i never use measurements when preparing changa.
