Past night I had a nightmare, one of the classical type: dark gloomy setting with a kind of demonic presence and being haunted. I woke up covered in sweat and for the first moments I was not in reality as I usually wake up into.
It was more a kind of ayahuasca trip. I've had this before, waking up while still in the state of dream. It's like there is something there in my room and the space is somehow different - in perception - in a reflex I pull the sheats back over. This lasts a minute or so, then regular reality kicks back in and I relax.

Now I wonder, does this coïncides with the synthesis of endogenic beta-carbolines? Maybe some DMT too, but the feeling mostly corresponds with doses of harmine and related compounds.
