I really need some insight... hopefully someone has been to where I've been. This is what happened.

I was smoking weed and DMT mix. For some reason after about being high for three hours on the two I got this deep feeling of, "Right now would be an awesome time to smoke some DMT with peppermint." It actually felt like a deep calling. I actually got aroused a little and thought. "HELL YEAH!" I just felt like the right thing to do.

I expected something like I had experienced before. So, I lit the bowl and held my breath. By the third toke I felt this wave of ecstasy rush over my body. It felt really sexual and I saw myself glowing and then coalesced and then zoom...

I was in a place that was bright, geometric, and crushing as it shifted and slammed around. It made no sense. It was impossible the way it looked and moved. There was a very real and very long thought going through me that said, "Oh my god. I broke it. I broke reality." I felt like I was outside of reality and time had no meaning. This wasn't me seeing CEV... I was there. I was somewhere beyond this reality and it scared the hell out of me. It was so real. I was so scared that I was saying. "I'll never smoke this again! Please let me go back!" I literally thought I permanently broke or slipped out of reality. I was so scared that it would last forever and it felt like it was going to. I just remember staying to say, "You're human! Come back down! You're human!" Everything was so fragmented and split. I started to feel like I was two of me. I mean like two souls. Like that voice in your head and whatever makes you really you. It was split and I was using both at the same time. Then I saw my body vaguely and thought," OMG! Yes! I'm human again come back!"

...

It was hard to deal with.

...

I came back and said, "I need to look in the mirror. I need to see if I'm human" Well, that's because everything looked crazy as hell still. I looked at myself. I felt like I was huge and floating. I looked totally alien. Everything had vibrance to it. Everything had extra red, green, and blue light surrounding it.

All I could think was I reached Nirvana. I was there. It was just. WTF.
Oh my god. I broke it. I broke reality.

Sounds like you properly broke through. Congrats. No matter how many breakthrough trips I have, I still kinda get that "oh my god, what have I done?!" sort of feeling initially. That's why I tell people that nothing can really prepare you for a DMT breakthrough. It's pretty much always that intense, but with time and practice, you learn to just kinda go with it.

Heheheheh....

Yeah, I guess everyone eventually has one of those "I broke reality" trips. Or a few of them.

It is not so much the being outside of reality and time that freaks you out as much as the specific fractured, stuck and stuttering thing combined with this ominous ghost in the machine, broken robot vibe that is ultra freaky. Give me the folding rooms and impossible machine flowers... the non Euclidean geometry and the neon jesters.

At any rate, when DMT throws you a curveball it is always a good idea to stop, take some deep breaths... remember that you are not dead or dying... and that reality isn't broke... it just might momentarily not have a job and feel like messing with your head for some reason.

Cool

If it rattles your cage... stop for a while. DMT is not a party drug. When you keep blasting off without having processed and integrated what you were already given, you increase the likelihood of a hyperslap.

Be well.

Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it." ~ Buddha

This experience is serious business. Never get too complacent. Just take some time, meditate on what you experienced. Take a walk. Go for a run. Do things that you love. Do some yoga. Cultivate your internal-ness, the dialogue between your mind/body and spirit. When your life is going great, then jump back in.

much love,
tat

You nailed it. It was a folding room with that feeling.

Will do Laughing

And thank you to the rest of you! I feel a lot better knowing that others have been through that as well. I'll be taking it easy for a bit I think.
Oh my god. I broke it. I broke reality.

I chuckled a bit, I had the exact same thought when I first broke through, "Oh crap. I broke reality!"
