Very cheap. I dont know anything yet about the humidity needed but I heard it doesnt need much!

It's a tent made out of plastic cover and probably wood or plastic poles. The electronic at the left is a humidity controller but I don't think I need it. What else is missing? (btw the lights are supposed to be in the tent) Pleased

why are you growin poppies? Big grin there will be very little useable material unless you'er growing them ornamentally just for the flowers

indoor grows while they will produce good pods, will produce SO many fewer than a growing season, IMO its just not worth it, that being said, you will succeed I believe. Thumbs up

imo, just grow em outdoors.

they can survive the harsh, short growing season of alaska, i am sure they can handle most climates.

I saw on another forum a guy getting fantastic results indoors.
250+ pods in a small grow area.
Strain was dwarf danish flag.
He used CFL tubes.

So it can be done sucessfully, just remember poppies dont like it to hot, especially when small.
25 degrees C is probably too hot.
When leaving lettuce stage and going into crabbage stage they are more tolerant and can handle a little higher temps.
I have grown a few outdoors just so i can have seeds for next season.

One strange thing though, the seeds were all giganteum variety and they all got a purple flower with pink in the middle, but, one of the plants gave a dark purple flower with both inner and outer flower leaves.
It was completely different from the rest.
Do they occasionally produce different looks or my seeds was contaminated with another variety/strain?
Strange...

Good luck

Growing active and sacred plants and mushrooms is fun.
Chemistry and technology is fun.
Anger, violence and restricting rules are NO fun...

It all looks good to me. Iam not an expert, but water, light, air, earth, Thumbs up
Though, i think you would probably have more success, and be less suspect, outdoors.

BEST OF WISHES

250+PODS from CFL tubes! That is kinda big news.

Grower, it could be recessive traits causing the different colors, but iam just guessing.

I also wonder why you want to grow poppies. If it is for the content then I like you to read this thread:
[NEW] Policy regarding discussion of different drugs

Especially this point is applies to poppies:

Policy wrote:
6- Safety aspects / Addiction potential: Certain substances have very clear known risks. We do not want to encourage use of addictive substances, so talk of addictive substances or with known physical risks should only be done with a clear and valid reason!

Kind regards,
