I want to make the Inspirator, but I am not sure where to find ceramic fiber at. I did a search and can't seem to find what I am looking for. Where do you guys find this stuff at?

I think this is what he is referring to when he describes the design for the heating element. I can't say for sure as I haven't tried it, but it would make sense. This is made to withstand the temperature of being in a stove, so it could certainly withstand any torch lighter. When I made my Inspirator I was impatient and didn't want to wait for the ceramic fiber to arrive, so I just used a screen inside of another screen and it has worked very well. I have also thought about the possibility of using one of my small ceramic flavor discs and wrapping it in a screen, but this would require a bigger glass tube than the medicine dropper I have been using.
