Hello! Now, I know this may get some replies like, "Don't mix your spice ware with food ware" but I was wondering nonetheless: glass is inert, basically, so there should be no residue left over from extraction materials on glassware after a good washing, so it would be okay to use this same glass for food storage? Wondering because one or two may have been mislabeled and re/de-appropriated from extraction equipment. I'm talking about mason jar glass, if that's any help.

Obviously not a really good idea just because there might be some residue you missed. I cleaned my glass dish that I used for a rue extraction three times and there was still some residue clinging to it.
Better to err on the side of caution I think.

I used isopropyl and acetone to clean mine and some of the stubborn residue stuck around. Just be safe!

Reusing is fine if you clean it properly.
As an example of how it could be cleaned: Soak in IPA/acetone/alcohol, scrub with metal scrubber, rinse. Then soak with warm vinegar, scrub with metal scrubber, rinse. Then wash with soap+water + normal cleaning sponge , rinse.

I probably didn't soak it long enough in the solvent either.

Oh, you can scratch glass with metal scrubbies. It weakens the glass and it can crack or explode (at high temperatures) more easily. I worked in restaurants for many years
