Hello, My main purpose on this forum is to run an idea by people and see what they think of it. I am fairly experienced with DMT, have been making and smoking changa for a bit, it seems to be the method that most agrees with me.
My current plan is thus:
A joint rolled using organic whole leaf cigar tobacco wrappers Filled with a mixture of mullein Changa cannabis and crystal Haramalas from rue.
I am of course going to try these combos separately first, and take a slow cautious approach.
This is encouraged by my experiences with cannabis and dmt together being a lighter more recreational but still thoroughly deep experience, and reading about the potentiation and slowing that MAOI's (haramalas and tobacco to a lesser extent), in combination with tobacco contributing to a smoother and better tasting smoke.
What are peoples thoughts?

I know of a few people who have made DMT cigarettes/joints in the past. The problem with it is that joints burn slowly and you have a pretty short window during which you need to get all the DMT into your system before tolerance becomes an issue. The harmalas might extend that window, but I don't know. If you're interested in psychedelic joints, Acacia Confusa root bark is supposed to be active while smoked (I'm going to test this once my next shipment gets in, in a week or two), and I imagine harmalas would potentiate it nicely. There was talk a little while ago about using a cigarette to vaporize freebase mescaline, which would shorten the duration of the experience (a dream-come-true, in my mind), but I don't know if anything ever came of it. I do know that burning phenelthylamines (sp?) isn't great for your lungs. Blessings ~ND "There are many paths up the same mountain."

I'm really curious about that "30 second window" business. I have a heard it, but not really been able to confirm or back it up in any way. It has this rumor feeling about it to me. I might try and do a test at some point though given the nature of the experience it might be hard to orchestrate.

Sounds to me like a changa blunt. I mean, I guess it depends on the ratios you are using but that seems like an awful lot of DMT unless there are multiple heads on it. I have smoked changa joints before and even though they are wasteful I've never made it more then half way through before having to put it out. I personally like the cannabis/DMT synergy but a lot of people don't and want a more "clear" DMT experience. Cannabis and harmalas are nice as well in my experience. The last thing I'll say is that the worst trip I have ever had off DMT was enhanced leaf using nothing but tobacco. I obviously can't blame the tobacco for the experience, it may of been set and setting, but I'll just throw that out there. Quote:I'm really curious about that "30 second window" business. This may be true of crystal (or may not) but in my personal experience with changa it is definitely possible to break through without rapid intake. I usually smoke a couple small doses before I decide to go for the breakthrough. I find breakthroughs are more pleasant when I'm already in that DMT headspace

Yeah, cannabis+DMT seems to be an ambiguous combo... (definitely not everybody liking it)

Well people have extremely varying reactions to cannabis, so if you don't like it alone I can't imagine it being fun when mixing.

From what I've read on this board over the years, many people who are cannabis lovers still don't mix it with DMT. The common complaint is that it dulls the experience and makes it harder to remember. I don't personally find this to be the case but I have seen the argument made numerous times. Obviously YMMV.

I don´t think it´s about liking/disliking cannabis, trust me Mixing/combining substances create very new situations/experiences/contexts, sort of "sui generis" situations... and you simply cannot predict which combination will or will not work based on your experience with just one of the substances... What I mean here: even if you like cannabis, and if like DMT, you still might find the combination of the two entheogens as "incompatible"... (if you don´t believe, just do some search on Internet...) (So, in other words, I suggest to start low, and "progress" upwards slowly)

Indeed. You are right. I have started really low with Cannabis DMT Combos and they are friendly to me. I haven't tried harmalas yet, I will probably do low doses with canna and dmt separately first, and then try them all together.

Joints are about the most wasteful form of smoking DMT...
Even if you, say, want a more social trip, just want some visuals and stay with your eyes open or whatever, still, isn't it better to use a more effective vaporization method instead, and just use less of it?
I mean, it's your DMT, by all means do what you want, but I feel it's a pity and not very sustainable for so much DMT to be wasted to the air.
(and yeah, as others said, cannabis + dmt is hit and miss for some people... For me I feel that I have clearer trips if I'm abstaining from cannabis but I've usually been a regular cannabis user so it might be different if you're not)

low doses with cannabis is infinitely different than breakthrough doses with cannabis, imo. My wind instrument is the bong CHANGA IN THE BONGA! 樹

I saw an experience report on another form that said four big hits of ACRB produced about 10 minutes of threshold effects. With Harmalas, I think it might even be more. There's stuff in ACRB besides DMT that is apparently psychoactive, so you might be getting some other stuff as well. As I said, I'll post a report when I try it myself. I love a spiced mullein and herb joint, back in the woods on anice warm bright afternoon, its not really for blasting off, more hanging in the jungle for a bit, them you're back in the forest, then the vines... Looking forward to adding some harmala to that mixture, once I finally meet up with some . Sine experientia nihil sufficienter sciri potest -Roger Bacon *γνῶθι σεαυτόν*
