Hi, i have a qustion thanks,
In my 2nd tray of clear liquid (i'm sure you know what im on about) i think i got a touch of the black matter in there. I accidentally got a bit in the turkey baster.
Whats the deal with that stuff? should i disguard the tray? or will a tiny amount of it not effect the whole batch?
Thanks in advance

You should just be able to pour the solvent into another container slowly and the black spots should sink and stay behind, try to get them into one big puddle so that none get poured out. It might take a few tries but this will remove all of the base water. You definitely want to get it out of your solvent, that's nasty stuff.

Re-dissolve the material in naphtha and then decant the liquid away from the insoluble impurities, this will also remove other contaminants. You definitely don't want to be smoking anything that has base water in it. Then just stick it back in the freezer and there should be a nice result.
