It could be said that you can tell a thing or two about a person by their choice in desktop wallpaper.

Furthermore, that perfect desktop wallpaper can be hard to find.

With this in mind, I wondered if I could perhaps coax a few members into sharing their current choice of desktop wallpaper. If anything this could offer a thread for some of us to find inspiration in each others choices. I mean we are a many and varied group with some real far out tastes.

I can't see how this would be anything but a goldmine, though I do love myself a good desktop and lately have been short of finding some proper gems.. Some of the artwork on here I must admit has been used in the past by myself (naming no names hehe)..

Anyhoo, here is my current choice (My son loves Domo lol).

I'm always on the lookout for great desktop wallpapers. I hope everyone starts posting theirs, I know many of the people here will have some amazing ones.

This is the one I have currently. Frozen lake in Denmark.

I change mine about once a week or so, so i can't resist posting a bunch of the ones i've enjoyed. The quality doesn't look as good as it does on the desktop though

My favorite has to be that one of the orion nebula. Many years ago me and some friends were on an lsd adventure in the woods, and when we came back we got on my computer to put on some music. By then we were tripping really hard and our jaws dropped when we saw that image. In it we were seeing cosmic dance of alien beings seamlessly morphing all over, and could even point them out to each other. Call it crazy pattern recognition, but they had a hard time believing me when i told them it was just a hubble space photo and not some psychedelic alien life form .gif or something. To be honest, i still see some of them in there Very happy

Ok thanks, I'll take a look.

I currently have one of cyb's works as my desktop - the mason jar overflowing with basified MHRB. Before that I had A.J. Casson's shore pattern, which i thought was a pretty good painterly version of what trees look like on a moderate dose of mushrooms:
