G'day. I'd like to start off first by saying thank you, and I think it is great to have finally found I site that promotes information sharing such as this. I was very nervous about my going into my experience until I read through this site. It is very reassuring to have lots of information from people of varying experiences.

I look forward to expanding my knowledge and sharing it on this journey on which we are all on and growing together.

I have many questions that I know in time will be answered. I have posted a question about my first breakthrough (I ascended Saturday) in regards to me chanting. I cannot wait until I can get some insight on it as everything I have read has involved hearing chants as opposed to performing chants.

Thank you for the warmness in your welcomes. I feel ease of mind and heart to know there is such a supportive and informative community that will openly embrace me on my path to the light.

Interesting.. I have found myself spontaneously performing mudras during some rue/dmt session. One gained me access to a place but as I got to the final gate/entrance I got "over excited" and tried to communicate to the person in the room. I was soon slid back out of that area, much to my own dismay.

No chanting for as yet though but I have read a few reports/comments on here that mention as such.. I recall something about the "icaro" which is a chanted during Shipibo healing ceremonies Wink

It was a big surprise to me as I have no rhythm or anything but was told I was in time and key. As it was my first breakthrough I have no concept of what happened when, the more I try think about it the harder it is, though I find myself getting "memories/feelings" at times. Now I know what I'm in for in a way I think ill have a better capacity to understand, interpret and remember. If I may ask a favour, my post was titled "a new being emerges from an old shell" I'm pretty sure, if you could direct anyone you may know that could share some insight I would greatly appreciate it. Cheers.

I have been looking into icaro, it is extremely interesting. It reminds me of a documentary series I own about a man who lives with tribes. He lives with an Amazonian group at one point and takes a shaman hallucinogen. This particular substance (I can't remember the name ill have to watch them again) determines a shamans name and powers by what he sees and sings about. I hope it is something like an icaro, I was on a rock perch over looking the beach and my sitter said I was stroking the grass and playing with it. It would not take away from my experience in the slightest if it is not but it makes me feel.....well special is the only word I can think of yet it does not feel like a contextually correct word. Thanks heaps for putting me onto it and ill keep updating as I research and experience more.

After much pondering I think the word I was looking for was "contentment" I feel content in the way that it meant so much to me just to breakthrough yet more so feeling like there may have been communication. It strengthens my resolve and assures me I'm on the right path and I'm doing exactly the right thing I need to.

Best of luck, plenty of people on here I feel who will hopefully step up to comment on the chanting side of things Wink

I had my second hyperspace experience about two hours ago now and my resolve is strengthened to the point I can feel my positive energy radiating and saturating my surroundings. I sat in a beautiful open field by the river and watched thee stars dance in a symphony of such majestic beauty I only wish I had the vocabulary to describe it.

This was th first time I have done it without a sitter and was hesitant at first but was soon calmed as I felt the energy surround me. I heard such intense sounds, they seemed to come at me, inspect me and carry on with there cosmic agenda. I have no memory of chanting this time and as I had no sitter I have no one to give any outside commentary.

I have done quite a few outdoor sessions and I have to say they are truly beyond beautiful. My only personal concern is for a while they made me rather apprehensive to go back into the deeper CEV meditative "journey" sessions.

There really is something immensely humbling to the gift of being shown how the natural world communicates with itself just outside of the normal veil. Bees following trails of light that manifest out of them, paving a curvy path in the air to the intended flowers that would pulse small beads of hazy light into the sky just prior to being landed on.

That was just a smidgen, watching flat rock paving stones surfaces turn into deep black and purple fractal zooms (with glorious flashes of green) that remained consistent no matter how much you look away then back again, THAT was one of my favorite things I have ever seen (and far from the most mind boggling).

Right now I am actually unsure as to where I want to take this whole path of expansion so am on a bit of a hiatus until inspiration strikes (or the inner bell of hyperspace calling me decides to sound off).

Only thing I would advise to anyone thinking of outdoor sessions.. It's best to ensure a good level of isolation from random passer-by's Thumbs up

Great advice, I have a personal little spot that I know is safe.

It truly is humbling and horrifying, I feel insignificant and small seeing how this world truly communicates, and yet horrified that we are so blind and some only getting worse. I have only done outdoor sessions, I love feeling such unity that at this point I find it hard to even give an inside session a lookin.

I'm very new and unaware of what cev meditation is, if you wouldn't mind could you explain?

OEV = Open eye visuals.. This is what I go for when sitting in the garden (attempt of bringing "that space" into "this space" for want of a better explanation).

CEV = Closed eye visuals.. For when I am sat indoors, incense burning and ready to be more meditative about my journey (to go inward in order to head outward)

CEV is a usually lot more intense and far more likely (imo) to bring about a breakthrough.

Call me weird but I kinda love that feeling of insignificance, for me it leads to the realization that there is so much more to explore and grow into and out of than I ever imagined. The way it makes everything feel so small also makes what is contained within that perceptibly decreased space as all the more special.

Not a bible person myself but the whole "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed" resonates with me in the fractal sense of it (as I perceive it anyways lol)

Thank you for the explanation. Your explanation was well worded, I understood easily.

Cev would be really intense. I suspect as I gain experience that it would be easier but, at the moment closing my eyes just to blink is overwhelming (in a good way). I guess that's where the incense would help?

The insignificance aspect to it I've actually started to like too, I feel like I know my place a little better.

Thumbs up

Incense can be a good aid indeed. If you use a specific scent for your travels it can really assist with recall (at least emotively) when lighting it up at other times.. I also use it to "smudge" a room (clear the energies) prior to travel which is a bonus on the intent/set/setting side of things.

Additionally, some say low level music can help in a similar way (recall). I can defo attest to that one hehe. Music tends to lend more potential to interfere with the journey than incense though (imo).

Anyways, best of luck on the CEV tip Smile

I could see how cev may require some initial time to set up, but once you found what you liked it a matter of replication and fine tuning.

The memory/emotion thing for me is somewhat strange. If I try and focus on a specic event during the experience I find myself concentrating harder and harder to no avail, yet a sound, the way something catches the light in slight breeze or sometimes just wave of calm comes over me and I find myself lost in the majesty of my memory. So far I have come to the conclusion that the more you try to will part of the it seems elusive but if I allow it to come to me in its own time I can be lost for minutes.
