hey im wondering after dmt is extracted the end result is there chance of naoh or naptha left over on the dmt or is it always 100 percent dmt/other plant alkaloids?
Want to know this so for next extraction to go towards the organic route, since worried about smoking any chemicals but if not will do regular extraction. thanks

hmmm that depends on how well you seperated your non polar and polar layers, regarding the NaOH
naptha will quite easily evaporate off

id say its next to impossible to extract 100% pure nn, if not, its impossible. but, it would likely be other parts of the plant in the extract, not any reagents used, if you extracted well.

all the nexus' teks are perfectly safe if you follow them to a T

You can always re-xtal and this will clean it up pretty well.

thanks i guess im most worried about naoh since last extraction while pulling there were times where with the turkey baster would pull some black than squirt it back out and cant help but think perhaps trace amounts could end up in the pull without knowing..think gonna do recrystal and perhaps organic route next time just to be safe

A simple sodium carbonate wash would remove any lye that came across. Instructions are in the FAQ or in some teks out there
