I don't know if this is how you do it, but it's the only way I could figure out how to post anything so far. I'm not great with computers, or even botanical pursuits, though I have learned to grow some flowers and veggies in the last few years. Just pretty much an old head born in the late 50's and have had an interest in psychoactive things for I guess 43 years now, and I figured maybe it's time to learn about other things that I never saw at a Dead show. Completely ignorant of chemistry and such things, but wish to learn a little and try to become a little self sufficient in such things. I have learned to brew my own ales in the last few years with some success and more than my share of failures also. I don't understand hardly any of the terminology of most of the things I've read so far , but hopefully can learn something new and interesting here.

Welcome keys!

You've found a great place for further exploration. Having cut my psycedlic teeth on acid and shrooms at dead shows and just discovering dmt last year, I think I know right where you're at.

This place is chock full of good natured, smart, careing folks.

Very good to have you here,

Peace & Blessings

Hello keys2therain,

Welcome to the Nexus. Very happy

Great to have another new mature member. For various reasons, I've noticed an increase in members in the 40-70 age ranges.

Just thought I'd mention, my husband (Nemo Amicus here on the Nexus) and I met at a Grateful Dead show, Smile. Those were some fun times, that's for sure.

You don't need to know chemistry to extract entheogens at home. Basically if you can follow a new recipe to cook something you can extract. Just make sure you read, read, read and ask any questions you might have ahead of time. Drop into chat anytime, including for quick answers.

The extraction teks are in the wiki area. I hope you'll check it out, as well as the rest of this huge place. I hope you like what you find.

Again, a warm welcome to you.

Cool. Dead-heads!

I'm very jealous. I would have loved to have seen them play... alas, born too late
