So I've smoked around 20 times now, cant seem to be able to breakthrough and cant figure why. Each experience for me has become very predictable and nothing like countless reports i read like encountering an entity or felt like crossed over to another place. I always feel I'm still very connected to my body and its always a nice body buzz and a beautiful show of complex patterns and colors when my eyes are closed and when there open i see my room as is, so im guessing im always stuck in this subbreakthrough state. I'm pretty sure by now its not my method since besides trying many methods like bong and i have the gvg which heard is breakthrough proof but still even with gvg no luck. Tried vaping the gvg with torch many times all way to 50 mg with 2 or 3 hits each time, and holding in each hit for 10 seconds...Starting to think perhaps some people cant breakthrough , ideas?

Trying using the GVG, 25mg loaded, ALL in one hit, hold it till you can't anymore.

The all in one hit I think is sometimes a must truthfully. If you find you can't get it all in one try using more heat. I was able to get 50mg all in one hit by applying enough heat to keep the ceramic disc glowing. Do not do this. 50mg taken properly all in one can be way too much.

Thanks I'll give that a try next time. Usually i get the ceramic glowing than immediately back off the torch, so just keep it glowing all the way? And something I'm always not sure of is if I'm getting it all. How do you know when its all vaped?

What I do is watch the disc. I don't let it get as hot as it can but just under that. It's still glowing but not supernova. Once it starts glowing real hot I back off just enough to where it dims a little but is still red. At this point when i see vapor start to fill the chamber thick I start inhaling a little harder until I feel restriction then I inhale a little slower than that.

If you see the vapor start to become thin after you increased the inhalation speed, either your inhaling a little too fast or your near the end. Slow it down a little either way. When the vapor is thinner during sustained inhaling your ok to pull away the heat and clear it. Hold it till you can't anymore. I know people say 15 seconds or whatever but I just hold until it feels right, or till I can't.

Also always take a test hit before loading just in case you didn't get it all the last time.

I've had trouble with the GVG when I was starting out as well.

I took the ceramic disc out, packed it with screens (6 to 10) and just carefully used a bic lighter. Put the flame horizontally across the top. In a small breath, melt the DMT to the screens. Exhale. Then get ready. Light the bic and put it horizontally across the top again. Inhale slowly at first, the chamber should quickly fill with thick vapor. Inhale and hold.

Being very gentle with the flame helps to keep it from burning. You definitely don't want to suck the flame into the pipe too much.

Its possible you may have some sort of tolerance to it. I just use a few screens and then a bit of powdered and finely ground herb at the bottom, load xtals on top. Apply heat for about three seconds before beginning to inhale, then inhaling slowly over the course of 10-20 seconds and holding for 15 seconds, and usually that does the trick with about 30mg. Sometime I take a second hit if my first one felt weak. Two hits should do the trick. Never have I needed more than three to breakthrough.

Why would you take out the ceramic disc? You essentially turned an expensive Vape pipe into an expensive reg pipe. Using copper mesh also works better than screens. Anyway there a very long thread all about the GVG. I read it through to the end before attempting to use it. Then I had no issues whatsoever.

i have had the same problem in the past with high quality dmt my girl and everyone else who smoked it tripped there ass off they used a bowl and i used a bowl i got high never broke thru while there in another dimension soo i decided fuck it i will mix some in with my gravity bong packs in a large grav pack enough to fit .3 of bud in something i rigged up i put my dmt in the middle of it all and used about .2 at this point i just wanted to breakthru already and yea i fucking blew thru took 3 gravs as quick as possible and went too many other dimensions saw a lot of different chemical compounds change in my trip and other worlds and a lot of awesome patters havnt tried it since lol but thats why im on this thread got to make it but yea gravity bong works very well
