Dose and method:

10mgs, GVG

Peak in less than a minute. Lasted 7 minutes. Afterglow still going now fairly strong 25 minutes later. Still had OEV distortions 13 minutes after administration.

Experience:

Ok so I am taken aback by this one. The come on was fairly strong for a 10. Although its been awhile since I have had a proper dose so I cant say for sure on that really. I entered into a familiar place that I have been to once before but never remembered. Not geometric, something else, cant explain. Like an infinite amount of dots perfectly space out in all directions forever. I could feel my body disintegrating but this only got to a point. I was in and out of feeling my body, mostly just my face. I was able to let go of this sensation and just BE there. But thoughts in my head clouded my ability to fully let go. I realized just then I am on the verge of a breakthrough. This caused thoughts to invade this space which assisted in stopping the breakthrough so I just sat in limbo here.

Def a loop like scenario. As the same kind of things would loop over and over again. I could feel my being, and my thoughts, and other things that were me being folded and unfolded squished, taken apart, cut in half put back together. Then repeat over and over again. There was entity presence there with me that was trying to assist in my breaking through. I realized I had been here before but i dont think I ever brought that memory back that time, or I just forgot about it since then. It was kind of an uncomfortable feeling, having different parts of me (my consciousness in a way) being distroted in that way. I was on the edge, so much so that it was that uncomfortable halfway broken through halfway still here feeling.

The visuals were not very clear either. Not like bigger doses. More like when you take light doses, where you can see them but almost more like a dream. Not very bright and almost like theres a cloud of fog.

10mg?! what is going on...

Wanted to add... not sure what song was playing, it was shulman though. At one point of time I realized I could still hear the music. But it felt like the music was a part of the experience and it would fade out and in but not in the same way as if you were turning the volume up and down, more like it would fade out yet still seem like it was playing.

Like time was standing still but in a way you could still here the sound. If that makes anysense. At one point I felt like the music was taken over by an entity that was making it sounds different or something like that. Hard to explain.

Felt the same way.

Sometimes it will just grab you by the balls. I have had full on journeys from 15mg before. Usually that is just where it starts to get interesting.

DMT will give you a sharp jab now and then just to keep you on your toes, it's good for the soul

To expand on this, it WAS an enjoyable experience. I can't believe how far I was able to go on such a low dose. Afterwards I had a very uplifting feeling that left me mostly content with things. This dose definitely helped in me being comfortable to dose again. It's been about 7 months since I've really dosed.

This experience helped me remember some key things while navigating in this space. I'm almost guaranteed a breakthrough on my next dose I think. It seems to have become extremely easy to breakthrough for me. I plan on eventually coming back to a 10mg dose and seeing what a breakthrough on that small amount is like. In the near future I will be going for a 25mg again. Been awhile.

I have heard songs in one moment instead of along a progression as usual. The entire song was 1 moment...

The way in which it modifies how you hear sounds is so complex. My ceiling fan pull cord lightly tapping against the glass bulb shroud was amplified so much on the dose right before this one. It sounded like it was right in my ear. The music playing sounded very 3 dimensional and "expanded" and the song sounded way more technical than it does normally. Like I could hear each sound separately while still hearing it as a whole.

BTO, I def understand how that would feel like. It's a completely different set of physics that are at play here.

I've had very intense experiences on 10 mgs, for sure.

But I often wonder, on those occasions, whether my scale might have just been acting up?

I have three scales, and I often weigh a dose at least twice (if I'm being responsible), and I regularly calibrate my scales, but each of my scales have been known to put one over on me, sometimes by as much as 10 mg. I remember getting a stable reading of 24 mg once and, just before removing the tray from the scale, there was a flicker of 32 mg. No, I thought. It said 24. No way.

But yes way. The last thing I remember after inhaling those 32+ mg was some revelation about my true self being constructed out of shape-shifting legos before losing complete and utter contact.

One of these days I am going to do some proper science and run my scales through the gauntlet of inquiry. Yep. Just as soon as I vaporize these 20 mg -- I mean 15 mg -- I mean 30 mg...

Thanks for that! I weighed out 20mg the other day. And I sat and I looked at it and I thought if you are 20mg, I am donkey! It was easily, easily 25 plus. But the sun was out, I'd been for a swim, the birds were singing etc. Best move I made all day.

Still, lets be clear here...I have weighed 25mg before and vaped the lot and felt the "effect" of said vape...but nothing happened. So I guess 10mg of DMT...anything is possible...and usually is.

Speaking for myself and headphoneperson....here's to outta calibration scales
