So my friend and I were talking about different experiences and he told me about a time he took some DMT that he told me was too pure to smoke. He also told me he was off his ass for 4 hours but it was in pill form and looked like salt. Does this sound legit to anyone else here? I don't have any experience orally dosing but it sounds strange to me from what I have read about orally dosing. Can DMT be to pure to smoke or was he just fed a big fat lie?

I would take that with a very generous pinch of salt (which is the polite way of saying "it's a big fat lie"

I think your friend was wrong on several points:

1. No DMT is "too pure to smoke". That doesn't even make sense, the less impurities the better.

2. Oral DMT is not active in any quantity that would fit in a capsule you could choke down. It takes a MAOI.

Whether he was exaggerating out of ignorance, or hyping up something prior to a sale...

There are a lot of other chems that would floor you for hours that might fit into some mystery capsule.

Thanks for the replies I thought it sounded strange his claim of 4 hours, I have only ever heard of 30 mins with oral dosages. Glad I know it is BS that it can be to pure to smoke. I guess I should have known it was misinformation he does hang out with some really shady people.

I don't exactly believe his story either but feel like it could be posible. Granted the pill was a mix of DMT & harmalas.

No DMT is to pure to vape but some types are unsustainable for example DMT fumarate.

Yeah, there is a slight possibility of pharma pills...but who is pressing those?
It's like finding LSD pressed into a pill heh.
Although, it's next to impossible these days to find real LSD pressed on a blotter *grumbles*

He showed me the empty capsule and showed me approximately how much was in there and it wasn't even 1/16th of 1 half of the capsule. He kept insisting it was DMT but I told Him from what he showed me I didn't think it was DMT. He even told me that He only used half of what was in the capsule. I thought he had told me that he swallowed it but he told me later on that he snorted it.

Your friend is definitely confused....

For the record, you CAN fit extracted DMT and harmalas in a capsule, granted it was a 0 or 00 size capsule. 0's can fit roughly 500mg and 00 can fit upwards of 700+mg. So there is a chance that your friend took a pharma capsule. Sounds about right, as i've had 3-4 hour oral journeys via capsule.

I say get your friend on here if he's legit and give us the benefit of his experience. All of a sudden these capsules and the 3 - 4 hour journey's are sounding like a desirable vacation. But too pure to smoke...

You can make your own easy enough, just get some gel caps and mix in your harmalas & DMT. As Tat said get 00 or 0 size capsules.

That's why instead of having to believe what some people say, it's much better to extract oneself.

Fact is, that guy was misinformed or plain lying, and in either case it's a bad thing. Who knows about what else he was misinformed, what's the quality of the product (or it's identity).

I also suggest getting some reagents like marquis and ehrlich to help with identification. But anyways extract yourself, you can even do a simple crude sodium carbonate and alcohol/IPA extraction if you want simplicity.
