After my first few trips with spice last year that was gifted to me by a now departed friend all I could think about was getting some more. As luck would have it in my small circle of friends one came up with about 1/2g of good white/yellowish DMT that you can smell thro about 3 baggies (not something to travel with !).
I have spoken here before about my issue with opiates and how it just feels wrong to take both substances i.e when I have gear in my system. HOwever when one looks at the issue strictly as a chemical problem heroin and DMT are much the same thing as in both are extracted from plant material but obv have very different effects so maybe I am just being hypocritical ?
I guess I am worried about getting my ass slapped for being a long term heroin user by my trip as deep down I know i shouldn't be still taking gear at my age on the other hand it may help me shift the monkey off my back.
Sorry this has turned in to a stream of consciousness but its been winding me up for a long time now - a nice fat baggie of good spice (I have smoked it a couple of times so know that its good - but not broken thro, delibrately, but got very close once.
I think I am coming to the conclussion that there is no 'right' time smoke

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

When I was battling addictions I found drugs weren't the answer. Getting clean and healthy should be your priority. Opiate addiction of any kind can be terrible and very difficult to overcome. I have no personal experience with opiates in particular, but with addictions to several other types of substances I can say that using more drugs was never the answer.

I would put the spice aside and try to deal with your addiction issue in a sober context.

The only drug I would even consider doing if I were you is Iboga as that has helped many people kick their opiate habit. It's no joke...it'll slap you around much more forcefully than something like DMT.

Still, I would suggest getting clean from any drugs and working on getting back into good health. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

Sorry for your loss losing a freind is a hard I know.
I think spice has the potential to help you in a good way, yes you may have a challenging trip and feel some deep down pain but it would also show you the light. Also it always seems to act as a reset button for the brain.
Depending on your intentions however, if you are vaping spice for purely the rush and great all over body warmth it provides then you could have a very rough ride indeed your ego will be wrenched out of you and information will bombard you mercilessly.
I say go for it and submit yourself fully to whatever lesson it has for you. Maybe its time to get off the H and this is the catalyst you need dimitri always has a good sense of timing.

I tend to think that if you've identified issues that may result in a hyperslap, then you know what needs work without DMT telling you. I doubt spice will work as an easier option than just doing the work without.

I'm new to the molecule and also have battled a long-term (albeit often times low dose) opiate addiction. This is just me, but I've come to realize through stopping my habituated use that addiction sometimes helps to repress other, uglier stuff than the addiction itself, and dealing with that other stuff has me holding off on spice until I can work through it, however long that takes.

Good luck with it, however you decide to go forward.
