Ive started working with ayahuasca (actually formosahuasca to be morr specific) recently. Ive been using syrian rue with acacia confusa bark. Im having trouble keeping the drink down long enough to get strong effects.
The first time i didnt drink much of my acacia portion of the brew, close to half of a 15g brew, & had a light but still worthwhile experience. The second & third times i got enough down to feel strong effects & came close to breakthrough but purged & the effects died soon after.
My question is, has anyone had experience with prolonging the experience by dosing throughout the day?
What id like to do since there is a small window of time where the maoi is active & the dmt is orally active is dose with rue followed by a portion of the acacia brew once effects come on, then after the purge, redose 3/4 dose of syrian rue & then when comfortable redose with a much larger dose of acacia.
This may be very hard to do because after the purge the thought of drinking more is not pleasant.
i have yet to try this but have had alot of experience drinking robitussin for the dxm content in the past & its always been easier to drink & hold more down after the initial nausea & purge because of the numbing & dissociative effects.
also, ive started filtering my brews through cotton balls to remove the sediment or at least most of it which seems to make the brew semi drinkable & the nausea much less painful.

I make sure to do three things to reduce the chances of purging too early.

1. Filter through a cotton t-shirt.
2. Decant in the fridge.
3. Tannin binding with egg whites.

You don't mention steps 2 and 3 in your post so I'd suggest you try them first.

I also find that drinking the tea cold also helps.

I do forgot to mention i filtered through a shirt.
Usually i do that after each pull then when all pulls are combined i filter the sediment through 2 cotton balls stuffed in the neck of a 2liter bottle. Usually i change the cotton 3 times as i filter portions.
I have yet to try the eggwhite tek but ive been looking into it.
Im not sure exactly how to remove the yolk from the egg though.
Ill let my next brew decant for 2 days before filtering & see if that helps.

Crack the egg and use the shells to pour off the egg whites leaving the yolk.

some people may be adverse to this, but I find smoking some cannabis right after you finish can help you keep it down longer.
