In Shaggy's Jungle tek he mentions using a pyrex dish on top of a hot-plate to evaporate away the Xylene. Wouldn't the Pyrex dish shatter and all materials would be lost? Also from many different other sources it says never to evaporate, and when working with Xylene salt it with vinegar. Would this interfere with the current Jungle tek? Śānti tumhārē sātha hō

I believe that pyrex is a heat ressistant type of glass. Correct me if i am wrong.

Most glass can stand high temperatures - the issue is with its resistance to rapid changes in temperature. Just make sure you slowly change the temperature rather than putting the glass directly onto a hot surface. You probably don't need to get it very hot, just enough to speed the evaporation. Too hot and you might destroy/vaporize the desirables. I'd go for around 50 C. Add a fan and it should evaporate in no time.
One time I was working in a lab where we dried test tubes in a large pyrex dish in an oven - I was taking them out but forgot to let them cool first and placed one dish directly onto the cold lab countertop. The glass immediately cracked due to the temperature shock!

Please think about your safety! Evaporating any flammable solvents above a heat generating device is asking for trouble. Both for the toxic fumes that will be released in a rapid pace and the very real danger of fire and explosions. Salting it with vinegar is a good way to get the DMT out more safely. Check this link to see how to salt the DMT with vinegar and how to make DMT freebase from it again: Acid wash/SaltingAgain, think about your safety, be safe and responsible!
