Hello hello.

After a lengthy span spent lurking, I figured it was time to jump into the cascade. I'm thoroughly impressed by the consistent quality of content on this site, the varying forms and levels of experience of the user base, and the level of courtesy predominant among differing and even at times seemingly polarized viewpoints.

In regard to entheogens, LSD quite literally saved my life. I'd been struggling with clinical depression for over 6 years, and was consistently contemplating suicide when LSD entered the picture. Being able to view the workings of my mind and habitual patterns as though I were standing over the parts of a game laid out in front of me changed my conception of everything irrevocably. It was a profound blessing for which I'm deeply and truly grateful. Since then, I've been avidly exploring neuroscience, biochemistry, and anything I can dig into regarding the feedback loop between our creative and linguistic choices and our consciousness, particularly the mind/body relationship.

I've had 30+ psychedelic experiences, about a 50/50 split between LSD and psilocybin, and though I thought I'd acquired an extensive level of understanding based on those experiences (silly, I know), my sole experience with DMT gave me no choice but to completely set all I thought I knew aside and reconsider it under a light that was utterly alien and totally familiar all at once. It's comical and beautiful how life always finds a way to surprise and humble me when I begin to think I know the definition of possibility.

I look forward to being a part of this community, and am happy to have the opportunity to interact with you all.

Cheers. Wink
