Hi, everyone!

I've been a member since mid May, but I haven't made any posts yet---only talking on the chat client. Encouraged by someone [whose name I am missing], I decided to make an introduction post.

First off, my name: Curious in Hyperspace. I've been curious about DMT for the past year or so, and have made small strides into hyperspace. The experiences have made a profound effect on how I view life as a whole, its vast, curious realm.

When I started my use, I egregiously obtained the molecule through methods inconsistent with the Nexus' attitudes. I actually had terrible success with its use, as, at that time, I had never smoked anything before, and so I didn't even have the simple option of ash/leaf sandwiching. In the end, I only had a few minor successes.

In the past few months, I started to go on the Nexus. I learned more about the substance and decided to carefully progress with an ACRB extraction. I had relatively poor yields, but I have had many experiences from it. I finally made a machine and have had what I, at the time, thought to be a breakthrough: I had strong OEV, at which point I would curl up in a bean bag and close my eyes to find myself in another realm. I have not, as of yet, had an experience where OEV overlap with CEV, though I hope to once I do an extract from MHRB.

More about me:

I'd been severely depressed for a large portion of my life, contemplating suicide and coming close to carrying the actions out. On a whim, I began microdosing B Caapi 4x extract at 50-70mg/day in a tea with some lemon juice, and I've had a complete transformation. My anxiety and depression vanished. I finally experience joy in life. [Thanks, to someone on chat who suggested a dosage of 10-100mg]

And I believe that's about it! If there are any questions anyone has, feel free to ask.

Hello CuriousInHyperspace,

Welcome to the Nexus. Great Introduction Essay - thank you so much for sharing.

You may need to edit the line that references the egregarious act in order to make it a bit less specific. I'm not sure about the fine points of the rules on this.

Regardless, I applaud you for extracting your own. I'm sorry the yield and results were not what you hoped. Keep trying - I'm sure things will get better. Try a different tek. Look into different smoking techniques - there is a learning curve. Make changa. There are options to improve results and go deeper.

I'm glad you decided to post and am very very happy to hear about the complete remission of your depression with the caapi dosing. It's amazing how much Nature really can provide.

Again, welcome to the Nexus.

Hi, thanks! I edited the line to merely put that my past actions were not within community guidelines.

I do plan to make a larger batch of changa than what I have tried with some of the past yields from the ACRB. I also may try to see if I can do something with the solid precipitate in the reduced basified acid wash that I have. I'm curious what filtering it out, putting it in only enough naphtha to form a layer, doing several Sodium Carbonate washes, resalting, defatting, rebasifying, and pulling again would do.

And thanks again! Nature indeed has been a miracle.
