A couple of them look like Acacia Obtusifolia.. but it's hard to say with the small photos and no description.

Good start to the post Razz don't mind a bit of soundgarden.

Was curious about the fern type leaves on the trees. Is this a normal occurance?

well i really really dont know to be honest with you but i have seen that before and it stood out to me

this is the acacia smokeydaze mentioned


but it seems like it was mimosa that has the ferny leaves thats why it stood out to me

Sorry the photos are so bad, stumbled upon them on a walk and only had my phone on me. I should have also mentioned that the photos are not all of the same tree. The first and the last are the same type but different trees and the rest are of 1 different type of tree. The funny thing about the one with the ferns is that it only has a couple of those "groups" of growths on a couple of branches and the rest looks like a fat/short leafed version of the other.

hey, pretty sure all your photos are of Acacia melanoxylon, i am pretty familiar with this species as i have them growing all around my house.... they will eventually grow into a large tree are said to be a good timber species....
