Mmman this spot is sooo cool. Its like a complete desert oasis on the western slope of the rockey mountains. The entire ground cover was phalaris arundinacea... I'm just excited to think that even if one of these clusters had any significant dmt then it will be something that can survive the apocalypse. This gives me great faith. tempest attached the following image(s): IMG-20130628-00020.jpg (1,014kb) downloaded 84 time(s). IMG-20130628-00027.jpg (1,609kb) downloaded 85 time(s). I wouldn't know anything about identifying but yeah, surviving apocalypse with some DMT sounds good, congrats Now do get some reagents like ehrlich and marquis and do a small scale extraction to use them, to see if what you get is good to go or not

Those pics don't do it justice. It was quite a site all over were different looking phalaris. I broke my computer on same trip so Its hard to post on my phone. Long story. But if its not too far fetched I would like to test little patches with Ehrlich reagent and find active strains. This was the plan. I'm sure I won't make it back there til next year to the same area due to money and time. But thats the plan.

Please notice that a positive result with ehrlich is only the beginning. At the very least, it would need to be followed up with marquis reagent (black would indicate gramine, dont consume that) . Also even then, there might be unknown substances there, like tryptamines with unknown safety profiles, etc.. So please proceed with extreme caution, doing allergy tests, raising dose gradually, etc.
One question, what are you studying? Hopefully you're not underage...
