How about an intro essay before some impossible hypothetical?

My theory: Nobody comes back. The entire population constructs itself into a 5th dimensional megazord and we go forth into infinity to shoot lazers at stuff. Nature fluorishes.

I expect:

• Many people with mental health issues would come back not too well at all
• Many people would be amazed and come back with broad smiles on their faces
• Many people would be more scared than they've ever been and spend their lives warning people never to touch it
• Many people would find it did nothing and wonder what all the fuss from the rest of the people was for

I firmly believe, given this scenario, that a good many people, if not all, would get high.

And next day mimosa seeds would begin trading @ $5K each.

I mean think about it, 6 billion lower dimensional beings enter your space for 10 or 15 minutes. It would be chaos.

Reduction in use of harmful drugs like cocaine
Explosion in art and music appreciation
Better art and music
More respect for others and love for other cultures
Mass extinction of the Earth's scumbags

I think this can be also be achieved by reading, thinking and travelling.

No need to waste 300 tons of DMT.

Most of the world doesn't read, think or travel, so that's kind of my point.

I predict these people will remain the same. Dmt is a complementary tool, not the button to become automatically a better person. It's all down to the individual. A faster approach is usually a temporary one, and leaves the system quickly. Kinda like McDonalds.

I don"t think it"d be a good idea if everyone in the world took DMT. You would get a proliferation of delusional Messiahs, bizzarre churches and cults springing up all over the place. It"s in our nature to be nobs and DMT isn"t a panacea for dickheadism, IMO.
As for the art and music, i think you have to have the raw materials in the first place whatever the substance you take. I like a bit of psychedelic music like the next man but a glut of trying too hard psy bands would give me the willies.
I reckon D"L"B was pretty spot on.

I think the force of everyone doing DMT at once would surely turn us all inside out. We'd spend the rest of our days lamenting the loss of the nice touch of skin, and would be constantly annoyed at how often we have to clean bodily fluids from sitting surfaces.


Psychedelics have helped me orient myself on the path I find I want to be, the path to being the best person I can be. I'll fall short, surely, but I am on the path because I want to be; it's my goal. I think many folks would share a similar shift as me, but many also are totally satisfied with themselves. I doubt there's a substance that exists that can grow a conscience in someone inherently without it, and DMT is no exception. So, many would have no lasting change, other than perhaps the inevitable "Holy shit, reality is way more weird than I ever thought!"

As for supernatural phenomena at the time of said Earthly trip, maybe something cool would happen. Maybe we would turn inside out. Maybe our consciousnesses would all merge into one, and simultaneously everyone would understand everyone else's point of view, ending any future wars. Maybe we'd all go to the same room and wonder who the hell all these people are. Probably, everyone would go off in their trips, more or less separate, come back, and the world would continue on it's wacky ass path.

It's a fun idea to ponder, at least.

Agreed, noone likes having their minds ripped out, not you or me. I can't say my body was tingling with pleasure on any trip, the main points/benefits of using is that it propels you way beyond your comfort zone but at the same shows you unseen beauty, and at the end of it, you have been expanded. I think its arrogant to assert that other earthlings will not be able gain from it in the same way, just because you were predisposed to art music and had no hang ups, I think the expansion of a trip will bring you closer to those core aspects regardless of pre-condition.

The earth would probably just continue spinning along.
