1) A piece about 1.5m long was cut in half and the core cut out, discarded and the skins chunks were gathered together.

2) The skins chunks were put into a steamer for 10mins to go soft in order to peel off the waxy skins easily. Skins were pealed and discarded and the under part of the skin was collected together.

3) This goop was added to a blender and blended up in order to add to a 2l bottle and frozen for 3 days.

Next step will be to do defrost mixture, pour into a 5l plastic bottle and add a solution of 2l H20/200g NaOH and mix/shake together well.

4)Add 500ml of xylene and mix with solution well. Allow solution to settle.

5)Seperate xylene into seperate 2l plastic bottle using plastic funnel.

Create separate acidic solution by adding 7ml HCL to 1l H20 in plastic 2l bottle. Add xylene collected earlier to this mixture and shake to mix well. Separate xylene from acidic solution for reuse in the NaOH cactus solution mixture and repeat steps 4 and 5.

Pour the acidic solutions collected, which now contains the mescaline, into a pyrex dish.

Heat this solution up slightly and allow the H2O to evaporate.

Collect crystals left behind and place in front of a heater with a fan and allow excess HCL to evaporate.

Equipment used:

NaOH
HCL
5L Plastic Bottle.
4 - 2L Plastic Bottles
Pyrex Dish
Heater and a fan
1.5L thawed cactus blend

This is what is planned please if any experienced members see anything wrong with the steps please send advice.

The use of plastic bottle and plastic funnel already raises a red flag.

You'll need to find out what type of plastic it is before deciding whether it'd be OK enough to use with xylene or not.

Xylene chows through plastic in matter of seconds. I can't say what plastic that was though but it was lank corrosive to it

as stated you need the HDPE 2 plastic which I strongly recommend over glass, but its very commonly milk jugs, water jugs, vinegar jugs, shampoo bottles ect.. you probably have 3 in your house minimum

look up an A/B tek, I used one I found on shroomery with good success, although I think I pulled too many times on a barely active SP cutting.

I know nexxus-wikki has a few mescaline extraction teks, but as I haven't read any of them I can't make a suggestion.
