Dear Forumers,

I wonder if anyone can offer any advise. My fiancée has had some experience with DMT, from the beautiful to the very unpleasant. Commonly she feels the DMT entities are advising her strongly not to take it anymore. On one trip she was shown a million ways of how to kill herself and goaded to do so by a tall dark cloaked figure.

Recently she has also had the same trip with malevolent entities showing her this again. She and I are wondering if anyone has advice on how to breaks this cycle and/or ward off these malevolent hyperspacers?

Thanks,

5DN

Perhaps she could try journeying with light pleasant positive music.

Thanks for the suggestion. We already do this and she formulated a chilled playlist beforehand however. Any other ideas?

Well I hate to be that guy who comes on these threads and gets all "defense against the dark arts" but it is important, and more and more people are having such trips... or more people are remembering these kinds of trips anyway.

My take is rather controversial, but I think that hyperspace entities are objectively real, and that some of them are bad. The bad ones tend to be rather weak compared to the light beings and higher types... but plenty strong to soul rape you, abduct you to an oppressive place and spend half an eternity torturing you... or simply feed parasitically on you.

The single biggest factor here is negative emotions. The standard dark entity seems to feed on one or more of these. Fear seems to be the biggest one... but anger, sadness, guilt etc. all have buggers that feed on them.

So, first step... deal with these negative emotions BEFOREHAND. Don't blast off with lingering or malignant fear or rage. This is why shamanic traditions tend to insist that one become a warrior (conquered fear) before become a sorcerer.

This, is easier said than done, though... and is not enough by itself.

One must also learn how to defend oneself. Generally, as with real self defense, if you have to use it, you have already made a mistake. But better to know how to handle yourself just in case.

I can't really take the time to teach all of the various skills and activities that can help one in this. It would take volumes, and I have already spoken about this a lot here on the Nexus. (perhaps search through old threads for dark entities or negative entities) What I will say, is the best method to ensure no negative types come lurking... is to have plenty of friendly guides and light beings around. Nothing will chase off a negative entity quite like an angelic being or an all loving divinity. Scores of parasites will flee at the very mention of some of the higher beings.

Like any place with some bad neighborhoods, having some tough local friends makes all the difference.

Next to that, I would say, learn some chants, mantras, icaros, toning and whatnot. Develop your intention and willpower so that you can dismiss lesser beings on your own. Clear your space properly, and don't trip in places with a lot of bad psychic residue (places where people have been murdered for instance).

In the end, though... I think your girl may be better off not tripping for a while. If the spice is telling you not to blast off... don't blast off. Not taking the hint in this is the quickest route to a hyperslap. And you don't want that. Trust me.

Yeah, when it is getting dark, it is often time to chill out with the smoking of spice.

Sound is really the way to deal with a lot of these entities. You can use short and sharp and very loud sounds directed with intent which will destroy many of them.

Check out this thread for some suggestions that I came up with sometime back. These methods have often worked very well for me, not sure about others though. It is definitely worth a look. Check it out!

I also use sound to direct my experiences. Both good and unpleasant ones. Sometimes it feels as if it automatically flows through me. I'll blow air from my slightly tightened lips which evokes a sense of empowerment. I'll make hums and slow simple foreign words, almost like an mantra I produce on the fly. The main emphasis would be intent and meaning you birth with your noises and breathes, so it's not necessary to think of what to do or what words/sounds to create, but rather let it flow out. It feels amazing.

Aside from using this to ward off negative experiences and beings, I also experience the DMT entities wanting me to speak just because, during pleasant trips. Obviously I've read the McKenna descriptions of DMT and the flowing language, but I honestly experience it. Sometimes it feels like a handful of Poprocks have been placed in my throat, just crackling waiting to come out.

What Hyperspace said (I know this does not add much but I feel his words should be contemplated and absorbed)

Very sage advice from HF indeed.

Some interesting things here:

ratpoison wrote:
My procedure when I meet dark entities is to "mirror" them away with myself - I always need to find out what they are attacking to "pull them out of my ass". But in that essence I always think it's really nice to meet dark entities because they can always teach me something about myself, and the darker the better Very happy this makes me think about if these entities are really dark in their essence or if they are just showing me my own darkness multiplied to make a statement for me to learn from. Kinda reminding me of the saying "how kind the dust to let me see the windows of my glasses better".

There is certainly something to this, and it can be enlightening no doubt... it is part of the reason that even bad trips often have positive effects. But I must warn that there is a big difference between the friendly to mildly dark entities who mirror you for your benefit (or their entertainment), and the truly dark and malevolent dudes who are not trying to help you out. Parasites and whatnot can be a wake up call and show you some of your blind spots, but they still suck. But the real bad boys are hyper-intelligent schemers who can be brutally abusing you for a very long time... before you even catch sight of them.

I don't say this to invoke fear as that would be rather counterproductive. But many psychonauts adopt attitudes about this stuff that leave them wide open to abuse, and they often have no idea what is going on. Walking through the southside of Chicago in a flowery getup and thinking the ghetto is not objectively real or that the people are mirroring you to show you your fear is not going to protect you when people come to fuck with you... and these extra dimensonal guys make gun toting gangsters seem like humanitarians at times. Luckily, they tend not to be interested in killing you, so there's that...

And personally on forehand of a trip I would, if going for a deep journey, wear an enchanted hat, necklace, cane, have at least one week of saved up kundalini energy, diet, smudge the room and the room next to the tripping room, and maybe a protection sigil... some flowers, an altar, incense... yes... list goes on Big grin

Power objects can be great, even if they just serve as foci for your intent. Even very powerful objects still require intent, awareness and willpower to use well, but any object can be conscripted to help you focus... I had an endless trip in a vast forest and meadow where a simple blue ball that I found became a talisman of unimaginable power until I came down and realized it was a simple blue rubber ball again.

...that I managed to pull this dark stuff to ground level and needed to deal with it "here" instead of "there" - and it really sucks, I was attacked through my ex-girlfriend (blind trust), hah, and in periods afterwards we saw demons in all directions and we experienced things like waking up in a psychotic trip together in the morning, and I've been quite disturbed by the attack and needed to work a lot to clean/channel the energy through all my blocks for ages afterwards.

Well, this is the real shit and the thing that tends to move people away from thinking that their bad trips are just trips... that end when they come back down. If such experiences were just time dilated expanses of odd and bizarrely cruel mistreatment that evaporated as the drug wore off, they would be disturbing enough. BUT, it is not the case, sadly. Some of these things can hitch a ride back with you, hiding in one of your own bodies often (physical, astral, mental etc.). You can have such "passengers" with you for a very long time, sabotaging you at every turn... making you miserable and draining your energy. This may turn out to be a leading cause of chronic fatigue syndrome... along with the more mundane serotonin burnout and the like.

All I can say, is this is not a hobby for the faint of heart. At some point, the extreme airy fairy "new age" vibe as well as the extreme materialist denial vibe can both come back to bite you in the ass. These things are not fantasies, and they have real consequences. Our modern techno-shaman are among the first group in history that has had such widespread access to these other spaces... and NOT tended to have any testing of their metal first. We don't have coming of age ceremonies, vision quests, or the tutelage of the elder shaman. We have kids with a bit of free time and an internet connection learning extraction methods and coping RCs by the boatload. We have people turned on to spice at dance parties without even a rudimentary understanding of what they are in for.

As such, this phenomenon is probably only going to get worse before it gets better. Eventually, our culture will come up with a modern shamanism and these arts will be handed down to noobs... or not. Hard to say. As long as people dismiss these things as being hooey and irrational superstition, though... they will be vulnerable. I know a number of people that I like a great deal who will hear nothing of this, and yet are plagued with demonic forces that they alternately appease and rue without realizing it. They tend to just assume that they are depressed, ADHD, foul tempered or whatever and let the clueless western meds give them some shit drugs that only make things worse. (note: don't take entheogens if you are on SSRI's no matter what anyone tells you.)

Oh well. It is what it is. Those of us who know the score have to be extra vigilant, and often protect and serve the people who journey with us.

I mentioned this as well, but it deserves repeating. Vocalizing is a very safe and sure way to manifest your focused intention. It is often the only tool that a psychonaut can use in these situations, so make use of it... and hope your neighbors don't think you are completely insane. (any more than they probably already do)

I've had alot of encounters with intense entity forces. what I've noticed is a overwhelming sense of indifference, like a predator prey relationship. They are not bad or good they seem to just do what they do and we are in the middle of it.

I can say that my best defense has been chanting. listen to ayahuasca icaros those guys know a thing or two about combating dark forces. I was tripping hard on mushrooms one day in the woods and suddenly a chant came to me almost like a gift . A short little melody line that I have used ever since . When things get rough in there I chant my little steady chant and things always get better.

my other 2 cents is to try to cultivate a good mindset before journeying . Thats not always easy. In most cases I rock alot of caapi leaf beforehand . This can help break a dark mood before going in.

Remember its only a trip and you will always come out of it. Always be respectful but dont be a victim of these things. Hold steady, be strong, breathe through it you'll always make it through.
The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.

I found some interesting things happen when using a Mudra (as telepathically explained and guided while in the middle of a session), gonna have to get into this chanting business (already got the Icaros downloaded for one of my next journeys and will have to try a bit of something similar myself)

My approach for "combatting" gnarly, wrathfull entities I sometimes encounter during DMT
journeys is really quite simple.

I will face these demons. I will experience fear. But I will not flinch. I will not run.
I will not scream. I accept fear as a feeling, but I refuse to act on it. I refuse to
let this fear move me & bring me off balance, out of my peacefullness and into terror.

I have stared at bsolutely gutwrenchingly, horrifying creatures that violently approached me.
Realising that none of these entities had a physical form really helpedconvince me to
remain still and not react to them. Beyond scaring the bejesus out of you, they really have
no power. So as I realised this, I understood that there was really nothing concrete to fear
of them; It was all theatre. Convincingly realistic theatre. Make you shit your pants-theatre,
but still...only theatre. This dissolved my fear amazingly quick.

I still felt a deepseathed, instinctive/physical sensation of fear, but it was no longer capable
of manipulating my mind and thus my behaviour. It had lost that power with my realising it's
immaterial nature. And as you stop being able to be so easily scared into a panic, these demons
will stop even attempting to scare you.

Further more, next to Repulsion(By means of Terror), these Demons sometimes use Attraction to bring people off balance too. By sexual seduction, by offering illusions of knowledge & power or any other means by which they can create a huge, strong desire. Desires that are strong enough to ruin all trace of inner calmness & Peace.
Like fears/Repulsions, that also very effectively can disturb inner peace. That is why they are these demons' 2
favourite tools: Attraction & Repulsion. To push or pull you away from your calm, peacefull center; Your self.

Don't allow it. Feel attracted to beautyfull, seemingly nymphomanic entities, by all means, but don't reach out.
Do not interact or you will have lost their game. Instead pay close attention to the entity, remain absolutely passive & relax deeply, both physically and psychologically.

The same goes for the demons that use fear to bring people off balance: Refuse to give in to the fear. By all means,
feel fear if it's there. Do not fight the feeling. But don't let the fear move you. Remain perfectly passive, observe the entities trying to scare you into a panic closely & relax deeply.

This is so fool-proof for me I have no more fears of travelling hyperspace. Also remember to not see these demons as enemies. Like those blissfull entities, they too are really teaching you valuable life-lessons. Regard them as teachers, as Tibetan Buddhists do. May it help you too.

^^ Indeed it does... until it doesn't.

I agree with SKA on everything he said, and heartily recommend getting to that place of detachment and self control where you can calmly stare down the buggers. If they are merely testing your metal, it always works out okay.

BUT, there are entities that can not be dealt with so easily. If things go really south for you, it really helps to have some powerful allies. There usually comes a time, if you journey long enough, where all your wiles and skills and discipline amount to nothing, and the only thing that helps is invoking some serious light beings to aid you. As such, it kind of helps to have cultivated these friendships beforehand. It also increases your ability to stand your ground if you know you that some heavies have your back.

There have been times when I've faced them down that has worked out (and that's usually only because a powerful positive entity shows up to help). If that doesn't happen, then it seems that they're only the more happy that you stared them down because IME when they get to me and make contact, there's nothing scary to me in the actual contact/encounter itself. It is the result of the encounter that is incredibly unsettling for me because if I were to stare them down, and they were to make contact, they then leave this sticky, warm, fuzzy energy energy on my body which aside of just feeling nasty to the touch, imbues a sense of depression and negative emotions (much the opposite of contact with positive entities and their energies).

When I first started encountering these things, I was like SKA. I would just stare them down. I would let go in every situation, and I had grown quite good at it. As I became increasingly aware of my energy around an unfortunate time that I was reading about brujeria with the virotes (magic poison "darts" ) and then later after reading the "Law of One" and with their descriptions of the negative "Orion" entities....it is all quite unsettling, and it makes it much harder to deal with these things from a psychological perspective, but on the other hand, I'm not sure I was doing myself a service when I was unwittingly letting these negative aberrations just do as they please. How can I know that their sticky energetic component doesn't affect my daily life after I can no longer immediately sense it after the DMT has worn off? I think there can be this tendency to write off negative experiences in consensual reality as "karmic results" of what has gone down in hyperspace, but ultimately there's no way to prove that, and it seems to be very psychological (a large part of their power does seem to stem from fear), but very difficult to tell whether the correlation is warranted or not.

During an encounter with a larger negative entity (which thankfully rarely happens - it's often the smaller guys who are giving me problems) when he made contact with me, I had an energetic reflex that caused me to automatically start throat chanting like a Tibetan monk, which I was completely unaware that I was able to do. When the "air cleared" all was loving, warm and flowing (which is not the way I typically feel after a dark entity encounter, unless things have been managed to be turned around, and in this case, I was the one to do the turning. I have since pulled out this throat chanting/screaming on a number of occasions, and it seems relatively effective. It's so gutteral, powerful and loud that it transforms them rather profoundly before my eyes. It's something that I would prefer to not resort to if I don't have to, but I've tried dealing with these things in as many ways as I could think of, and this seems to be the most reliable (can't seem to count on help from my positive hyperspatial friends all the time). I would simply prefer that they stop showing up because they can really hijack a special, good experience, but so long as they continue to show up, I will continue to defend myself. I intend to send them the message that I won't lie down without a fight, and maybe I'll stop being worth their while eventually.

As HF noted, I view a clear distinction between "bad trips" and those experiences that include some particularly negative entities. "Bad trips" IME can be quite uncomfortable, anxious, scary experiences where letting go is 100% the best option and can work wonders on really turning things around...and if not...oh well. There's often something to be learned from, sometimes self-referencing itself as a lesson in "letting go" and then there are the negative entity encounters, and these usually don't seem to end so pleasantly if you let go. In fact it seems like that's what they want you to do (lions don't always enjoy chasing their prey I'm sure) and it usually ends with me feeling quite unsettled emotionally, energetically and so on, and because I cannot be sure how this affects my daily life, that seems to be where the real fear for me comes. If it were provable that they did not have any reprucussions in consensual reality beyond the fear that they instill, then I wouldn't care so much (though still wish they wouldn't show up). Then it would remain in the category of bad experiences, and they would be written off as odd ugly mindless entities. It is because I can experience this same kind of energy in mind states outside of hyperspace that makes this whole scenario particularly disturbing.

In my personal experiences dark entities have all been repressed aspects of myself. When I quit trying to kill them off, paused, and listened to what they were trying to tell me I found I could then engage my rational mind and decide what to do with the information.

The ones I meet don't say anything no matter how long you give them. It's like they're broken computer programs.

"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it." ~ Buddha
