I'm fixin to put my opinion where it doesn't really need to go again. Anyways, animals, especially ones as primitive as toads, don't have the mental power to understand their current situation. His toad knows nothing of rivers and other toads' lives. Most importantly, the beast doesn't have complex emotions. It isn't sad that it lives where it does; it just lives there. It doesn't sit around saying man, I wish I lived out there and made love to those lady toads. No, it sits there and thinks oh hey, cricket time again. If a lady toad was thrown at him he'd think oh hey, baby toading time. People give animals way more credit than they deserve these days. WITH that said, I do believe we're all spiritually connected, however I also believe the plants and animals present here are present with reason. The reason may be giving us the gift of 5-MeO-DMT, or it may be giving us food, or cleaning the side of the road of dead raccoons. I don't know our reason for being here, I'm trying to find it, and OP may be as well. I believe the toad is here to help him, and us, find that reason. I believe in freedom for everyone. 3rdI - the last time I started licking random people in an attempt to get high, it didn't go over well. With anyone, really. "There are many paths up the same mountain."

I don't believe animals deserve freedom from government, ie liberty, that doesn't even make sense. Whatever, I again have the unpopular opinion. Everyone on this website shares that with me at least, we're all in the minority with our opinion on psychoactive usage. Well, to avoid speaking in an absolute, mostly all. Thanks for all the replies folks! Sorry if my original grammar wasn't up to par! I have not yet milked Terrance the Toad, but soon I will. I have done plenty of research on dosage and what to expect. I feel that I am ready. The backstory on the Toad is this. He was a friends pet and I took him because he wasn't getting the love he needed. And by love I mean crickets and mealworms...he has a great enclosure, eats well, and gets time outdoors. I know that still sounds like prison but it's the reality of the situation. Freeing him would lead to his death as he does not hibernate in captivity. Thanks again for all the talk and I will report back.

Has Lotusmind really got a toad or is he just showing his knowledge of one source of this substance. I thought these toads were rare specimens. Or has Walmart got them on a "special". Some posts seem a bit "uppity". Lotusmind....are you a keeper and milker of 5 Meo DMT toads? If you are, I say lick it good and lick it long, and report back. If you are not, I say proceed with caution, and report back. Author of: DMT & My Occult Mind: Investigation of Occult Realities using the Spirit Molecule

Let's address first and foremost toad licking; this doesn't really happen, and if it does it's silly people misinformed by this ubiquitous rumor. Licking the toad venom would not yield psychoactive effects, would be very unpleasant tasting, and likely might have negative side effects due to other compounds in the venom. I can't really speak to that I don't know what other compounds it may contain apart from 5-MEO-DMT and bufotenine. The way to utilize the venom is to smoke it. The venom contains up to 15% 5-MEO-DMT and 3% bufotenine. James Oroc describes it in Tryptamine Palace as smoother and more organic experience than synthetic 5-MEO-DMT but still quite capable of providing the true entheogenic godhead experience. Turkey Red does indeed contain 5-MEO-DMT and it is documented in many other plant sources. Plant based extraction is most assuredly preferred for ethical sourcing of 5-MEO-DMT for those who desire to to do any sustained work with it. Toad medicine certainly is interesting and intriguing and I would jump on the chance to try it for the novelty factor alone. If I ever came across a wild frog I would not hesitate to respectfully harvest it's special gift. I don't endorse buying or trapping them to keep as a pet as a source of 5-MEO-DMT, but if you already have a toad like the OP or stumble across one in the wild, I say go for it.

cyb wrote:Have you seen what they do to those poor creatures in the tribes?? Its pretty sick and barbaric... Now put the frog down and back away.... ^^ Yes, listen to cyb "Milking a toad" as you put it is extremely stressful to the animal no matter how gently you think you're doing it, this is its defense mechanism you are toying with, imagine someone squeezing your adrenaline gland, and putting you into that stress level I could imagine at least it would be a similar experience for the toad. Understand: Nature knows no EVIL, Nature knows no GOOD, people know these things, because we perceive these things, with the gift of senses given to us at birth. A good or bad experience is simply a bridge to a another existential time frame, so always live in the moment and make every one a positive moment!
Any and all posts or interactions are to be held as my fictional writings/short stories or dreams. I may even have some delirium setting in, I've never been tested for it. The only exception to this is the statement about nature above, I feel this is a fact!

Now my question: has anyone on here actually milked prepared and smoked toad venom? sounds most interesting to me You have never been apart from me. You can never depart and never return, for we are continuous, indistinguishable. We are eternal forever

I do not advocate or condone the licking or squeezing of toads But with that said, and this not intended to be argumentative, I'd like to point out that dogs have their glands, though not defense-glands, squeezed to remove excessive fluid, and if viewed from this perspective, milking the toad might even be good for the little guy, though admittedly probably unpleasant for a minute or two. I have no veterinary basis for that, though. I believe in freedom for everyone. 'movies are for people who lack real drugs.' -anne halonium

Lotusmind wrote:I would like to add that i am not gonna Lick it. I've experimented lately with a good batch of the 5-MeO containing Virola theiodora resin, and found it a wonderful substance( albeit on a magnitude weaker than vaporised toad venom). That might be an option for you if "Terrence" gets tired! This reccuring moralizing over the " Poor Toads in capivity" is quite frankly silly and getting long in the tooth. Why not take the topic over to a Terrarium and Reptile enthusiasts forum to get some real objective viewpoints on the subject?
