I am very sorry to hear that Logitech make a bad ass home security system that you can find online or at the blue store with a yellow tag (opposite of worst give away) for a pretty penny BUT it hooks directly to a router and if you set up an account with logitech it will send you email from the motion sensors and video tape them too. I am the kinda guy that would set them up again for another breakin just to catch them. They are obviously watching your place and know when you are there and not. PS just clean the place completely before hand so you can get the cops involved. the crooks could be counting on the fact that your actions are fishy so just clean house set them up. sorry again.... I have been stalked before and that is way i now have the cameras at the front/back doors and in the flat.

Sorry to hear that. You should put some thought and effort into finding a really good hiding place for your chems at least. No one would find mine if they broke in. Even the police might have a hard time

Almost sounds like someone that you know. Your average burglar wouldn't care about the chems. You could probably narrow down to a short list of suspects. Then just be unusually nice to those people. The guilty one will be totally freaked out.

Yeah, this sounds like an inside job. Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. We cross and recross our old paths like figure skaters; our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future. ---David Mitchell, Cloud Atlas

I do have a rough idea who it is, but of course i have no 100% proof. Hopefully Karma bites their ass off I'm going to get a burglar alarm fitted so this never happens again or i'm going to move to a different more quiter town

A random meth addict or a friend of one would care about chems and would likely steal them even if he didnt know precisely what they were. If one gram of what he stole helped him cook meth or was sellable to a meth cook he may wait for you to restock and rob you again. Tweakers will check the meds cabinet for hydrocodone and pseudoephedrine, it shouldnt be surprising if they go after stuff like toluene and lye too.
Get a security cam or a angry dog or something

...imagines thief stealing some shiny crystals, snorting a big honking line then suddenly realizing it's not meth just as the universe dissolves... Images of broken light, Which dance before me like a million eyes, They call me on and on...

Well if any spice was stolen then one can hope karma comes in the form of a multitude of angry, vengeful elves. Seriously, feel for ya.. Truly sucks to be broken into let alone lose specialised/targeted stuff in the process.

Like everyone has said before. I am sorry to hear that this has happened to you. I definitely agree with everyone who is saying that it is probably a person who knows you well enough to know where your chemicals may be hiding, if at all. I had my house broken into about 9 years ago and lost a heavy load of electronics. So I know the feeling of betrayal, disgust and helplessness, specifically when it comes to the police. I hope that you are able to rebuild your chemical stash quickly and that it does not happen in the future. Maybe if this person was a "friend" that you would hang out with maybe you should look at who you are friends with again. I would definitely look into a security system as the others said. Love and light. "Think more than you speak" "How do you get rid of the pain of having pain in the first place? You get rid of expectations" "You are everything that is. Open yourself to the love and understanding that is available." "To see God, you have to have met the Devil." "When you know how to listen, everyone becomes a guru." " One time, I didn't do anything, and it was so empty... Almost as if I wasn't doing anything. Then I wrote about it. It was fulfilling."
