One of my favorite things to do with my free time is to light up some dank cannabis and critically think about my experiences with hallucinogens and what those experiences mean and what they imply about the natural world. Why is this so entertaining? Because there is no correct answer at this point, there is simply not enough information. Until we ingest our active psychedelic doses. THEN it all makes sense and upon return, like a child with his hands full of apples we coddle these new found truths into our memory banks where we hold them dear and call on them for entertainment and enlightenment. I think every psychedelic user will agree, that there is definitely something profound going on here. And that’s where the true mystery and the excitement lies in the psychedelic adventure. There’s an experience that’s so mind boggling we can hardly translate 10% of the event to our fellow man on a good day. And to make my point I just want to highlight the fact that we are a small network of people who when we get together in real life and use these substances together, or meet others who have had similar experiences with similar substances, the conversations you can have are some of the most beneficial side effects of the psychedelic experience. So watch out for your psychonaut friends. Keep them close. Keep them safe. For you will never relate to anyone else quite the same!

I'd rather keep my real friends closer, the ones who'd help me move.
It doesn't matter to me if they do psychedelics or not, there's
more to life and the human experience than that.

When I stopped smoking cannabis I quickly realized how many of my "friends" seemed to just be my friends becasue I also smoked cannabis.

Long live the unwoke.

I like the thought of keeping our friends close. That's a very pleasant thought.

What disturbs me when I enter it with some depth is the thought that this will form cliques, tribes, nations, etc., and wherever there are different cliques there seems to be conflict, at least in my experience.

I would rather not identify myself with this or that is all I'm saying I guess.

I think this is a good idea and I naturally form close bonds with other psychonauts easily, though my psychonaut friends are not really my most reliable friends. It may help to consider them psychonaut collegues rather than friends, since their role is really an intellectual one rather than one of emotional and physical support.

Spreading the word is also important. Psychonaut-ism may become too exclusive otherwise.
Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.
