Hi, someone very close to me did a succesful acacia extraction. 1000g of acacia confusa powdered root bark was extracted with 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts distilled water, 3 times. The volume of the extract was reduced to 750ml by baking at 200 degrees in a large pyrex baking dish in a convection oven. This was placed in a 1000ml filter funnel and defatted with repeated pulls of toluene and xylene until the nonpolar layer no longer visually showed gunk. The result was basified to ph 13 and heated in a slow cooker water bath before pulling repeatedly with 125ml of naphtha. The naphta was extracted with 1 part vinegar 3 parts water, and the acidic solution containing the dmt separated and basified to ph 13. This was pulled with naphtha 3 times and the final result was evaporated by placing in a pyrex baking dish set on top of the slow cooker filled with water, until reduced to about 50 ml. The final 50 ml was freeze precipiated.
Yield was disappointing, only about 50 mg of white waxy crystalline spice. However, product was consumed 45 minutes after a dose of 300 mg oral harmaline crystals. In retrospect the harmaline dose was probably a little high.
The effect was life changing.
Having many psychedelic experiences in the past my friend was unprepared for the clarity of spiritual instruction that was offered. Visions of profound beauty, deep interconnectedness, insights into personal spiritual issues, profound feelings of healing and reverence. Nothing my friend had done before prepared him for the crystalline clarity of the experience. He believes this is truly a sacred substance.

this seems to be a common thread lately..very low yeilds with acacia confusa..I see like a thread about this every day or two now. Still..this is the lowest yeild I have heard of yet..there might still be stuff in there..or maybe all the defats pulled DMT bound up with the fats? I have of that with grass extractions. Why did you choose to do defats? It is not necessary, there are much easier ways to get around the defats. Long live the unwoke.

I was following a tek for acacia that used back salting as a way of defatting. But I now have gotten a good supply of mhrb and I just read cyb's ion tek which caught my interest as a way of getting high yield and a quality product.

Doesnt sound like the worst batch I've heard of cacia confusa is quite popular. Hmm. I am looking for the 3-4 best types of roots/leaves/seeds to extract. Do some experimenting and test the purity aswell as the trip. I have heard that there's a good seaweed for this, maybe youll experience the underwater goods :> Have anyone experience in mixing 2 types of dmt? e.g 2 N-N-DMT whom are least 90%+ pure Although the brain denies access to most drugs and chemicals, it takes a particular and remarkable fancy to DMT. It is not stretching the truth to suggest that the brain "hungers" for it. โ Rick Strassman

I don't have low pulls with Confusa... But I also said **** you to defat, I believe in the Acacia. Using powdered root bark, no defat - straight to base method. Pull, boom. It's quick, and always decent yield. I do a different process in the later pulls.. But I've got it down to a decent science. Making changa like a baws. You are the architect of your own Destruction.

Sounds like a harsh yield for how much bark you went through, but keep trying.
I personally tried it both ways with ACRB and came to the conclusion that the powdered stuff is difficult to deal with. I would've tried to extract a smaller batch in chunks boiled instead of powder first to test your extraction method.
I've had better results with the bark in chunks and boiled. I can say that the yield consistency in ACRB isn't ideal between sellers. I lucked out finding a second seller that yielded much greater results.
Seems like a lot of extra steps to ensure cleanliness of end product. If anything, I'd clean up the product after extraction. I stopped chasing the perfect end product awhile back. Goo, crystal, gummy, waxy; It's all the same to me.
