Hello all, after developing a small obsession with the whole DMT phenomenon, I kept stumbling on this forum and I was always pleased by the positive vibe and the knowledgeable community here. I've browsed these forums hundreds of times and I finally just decided to join and maybe share some of my thoughts!

First off, My name is Ryan, I live in Toronto, Ontario, and i'm working on becoming a filmmaker. i also skateboard, i play guitar and drums, and of course, i've been using entheogens for quite some time now! Like everyone else i started my drug use with cannabis, smoking daily ever since. Since then, i have experimented with Salvia, MDMA, and good ol' Mushrooms. Salvia made me feel like crap, i generally dont enjoy it but it was worth the experience. MDMA, while it was a blast, and was actually very spiritual for me, made me feel quite slow the next morning, and it didnt feel so.. healthy. but mushrooms, man, that was a fantastic, life changing experience!

I became very interested in the spiritual effects of psychedelic drugs, and when I picked up a copy of Rick Strassman's DMT - The Spirit Molecule I knew DMT was something I HAD to try. The theories on the afterlife and the spiritual use of ayahuasca make perfect sense to me, and from the trip reports I read, this seems like a phenomenon that will never be explained, and must be experienced! but unfortunately, i havnt been lucky enough to obtain any... for almost 2 years now ive been hunting this molecule down with no results, im thinking ill have to extract my own, but with the lack of Canadian MHRB suppliers, that seems like a challenge on its own, :/ im not gonna stop trying though! and hopefully with the help of this community, i'll be mentally and spiritually prepared once i do get a hold of some! in which case ill be posting my experience here immediately after.

Hey Ryan, nice to meet you. I think I've developed the same obsession you have Its interesting that you don't enjoy salvia, I quite like smoking 10x salvia in a relaxing state. I think that south American shamans used to drink it in a tea so it would have been alot less potent than the smokable extracts that you can get in shops.

thanks for the reply! i have this very weird thing with salvia.. like i said, it was worth doing, it was VERY interesting, its just also very dark and scary when youre not expecting it... i had this one intense hell of a trip off some 60x or so extract that just honestly felt like i was being pushed through a meat grinder or something. i had dreams about it for like a month! i may still try again sometime though.

Welcome to you're new home brother. If you want DMT you will get it. just never give up on the journey, and keep the passion for wanting it with you.

I bought it my first time cause I didn't know about this sweet site yet. Now I'm slowly gathering up ingredients till I can start my own extraction.

Welcome to the Nexus. As always, it's great to see a long-term lurker sign up for membership. I really enjoyed reading your well thought-out Introduction Essay and felt it gave me a good start at getting to know you better. Thank you so much for sharing.

You indicated your frustration but I believe ironically your frustration has led you to a better and higher path. Anytime we can grow and/or extract our own entheogens, the better in my opinion.

You have come to the Nexus at a time of evolution and revolution as I'm sure you have noticed. This announcement may be particularly relevant https://www.dmt-nexus.me...spx?g=posts&t=38302 . But, don't give up hope! Just because the days of MHRB may be over, DMT is not going anywhere. Nexians are successfully beginning to extract from acacia confusa and other plants. The future is wide open and groundbreaking research is being done right here.

For various reasons it took me 23 years from first hearing about DMT and knowing I wanted to try it to extracting and being able to try it. It was more than worth the wait. I KNOW you can do it in much less time and look forward to reading future posts by you.
