Somewhere, this happened:  In my avatar, the kid finally took the star, and they disappeared together, in a big yellow flash  All remaining... was an aura. A silent witness... of the star.

Very cool! I love seeing the reason behind peoples "internet face", some very interesting stories so far.

My avatar is a photograph I took a few days after an incredible mescaline experience... Where I was completely fascinated with the sky, during my journey the stars began to rain down on me and I watched the sunrise in the morning which formed these beautiful rainbow layers across the whole sky. It made a really deep impact on me, I have always had a keen interest in the sky. My father also nicknamed me cloud whisperer as when I was little I would always make shapes out of the clouds while having elaborate discussions with him which would spark intricate tales about my cloud creations. House turned me on to Dadara's work; and when I saw it, I knew right away it was the avatar for me. I guess Dadara actually made a whole big project out of it and took it to Burning Man. more info here

Mine is an illustration from an RPG I used to play, solipsist. Was quite a weird game, since rules were little and everyone had the power to change to world at his own mind - losing sanity for doing that, so one had this power to change reality but had to prevent himself from falling into the solipsism and retiring into his own fantasy world. I'm not playing that game anymore, but I fell in love for this pic =D (always have this since years) Bad, bad english
