I really like the one you did that was inspired by salvia. I've been there before. Salvia is a wonderful teacher plant.

This is awesome Cybot. You are so on that level of linked excellence between the two arts. I myself have tried for years to translate the crystal clear images in my head, the perfect simulation quality memory of ethereal settings, but i fail. always. pretty hard.

its alot easier to ink if you ink the feelings you retain from the adventure, rather than what you visually see. or a combination of the two. for me anyway.

Nice stuff. Does that look like what people see in DMT trips?

I cant thank you all enough for the positive comments. Its interesting to see how people who have experienced hyperspace really understand the art, whereas people who have not, just see it as 'trippy' or 'colorful'...

All I use is Photoshop, and my camera for some textures and photographing quick pen drawings to help an idea get started.

I also use Apophysis, a freeware flame fractal generation program.
Apophysis can be tweaked to make this sort of fractal with a little photoshop editing -> http://cylab.info/data/U...pophysis-080119-1074.jpg

Yes this imagery is related to what you *remember* visually seeing while under the influence. Yet, the main goal is to incorporate themes that reflect the general structure of the *feeling* of the experience. It's hard to project a sphere into a 2 dimensional plane, just as it is harder to project iconic hyperspace 4th dimensional imagery into a 2 dimensional plane.

once again thanks all

Since that comment is directed at me and me only, let me clarify what I said. I did not say it was colorful, nor did I say it was trippy. I used the word "DMT trip" because that's the term a lot of people who try DMT use. Other than that I thought your images were nice and just wanted to ask other members if that is what being on DMT looks like (approximately).

I dont think it was malicious in intent bastard. It is, but just so much as any hallucination with incorporates 9 or so visible dimensions....

I'm sorry, i really didn't mean that, but after reviewing what i said, i can see how you would infer that Pleased

I was talking about friends of mine who i show this style of artwork too, and they dismiss a lot of the themes within.

No need for apologies brother. I enjoyed the art work, so I'm sure people that have tried DMT have an even greater appreciation for it than I did.

Its a mindset, and the odds are, if you are visiting this forum, you probably have a very similar mindset to us fellow travelers.

Drugs dont give you insight, drugs are tools for you to use in your acquisition of insight.
