Hello, I'm James. I go by my pseudonym Dr. Drugs for privacy online, although even my full name is quite anonymous (There are hundreds with the same name, it's very common). I have lurked the forums for some time, as I find psychoactives to be incredible interesting. Upon getting into advanced chemistry classes, I realized I not only liked chemistry, I had quite the knack for it. So, I have enrolled in college to study chemistry, and continues my own studies of drugs on my own. I have read hundreds of texts about various psychoactives, and seeing the state of the world around me, have been quite shocked by how much risk and harm reduction is possible, but not pursued. I have also come to the realization in this time that I fully support the legalization of all drugs. I feel that the more people are educated about drugs, the better their decisions pertaining to themselves and to politics will be (not implying my decisions are definitively the best, simply saying people should make informed decisions).

So, I have made a youtube channel dedicated to teaching about psychoactive drugs. You don't need to worry about me talking about DMT or the nexus on my show, I'm talking about mainstream drugs, and drugs people are hurting themselves doing. Most users of DMT "know" what they are doing, (or if they don't, they don't like it and quit after the first time) because most users of DMT learn their info from places such as this. On the other hand, myths and lies run amuck about other drugs, from the pro and anti-drug sides of the issue.

I look forward to discussions on the nexus, thanks for reading.

As you can see, no DMT. Coverage of how to be safe with popular drugs and how to avoid/treat overdoses.

I mainly talk about how to be safe with popular psychoactive drugs (so no DMT, don't worry).

Haha, I know. I'm not really too concerned, but I don't want to make it too easy for people. Laughing

Hope to see you around. You got value to add to this consciousness. Dig your site.

I do enjoy reading, discussing, and learning about other things even if I am not planning on doing them. I will check out your channel(when I am not at work).
It is nice to hear about another member that is good with chemestry on here. We have them already, but I dont think we could ever have to many of those who are lnowledgable and have the potential to share and help teach others (including, but not singling out myself).
Wlecome to the Nexus and happy travels
Good luck and as always Happy Travels

Your right James, prohibition is a foolish policy. First off...it just doesn't work, despite the many many billions that countries pump into stamping out the drug trade it is still flourishing. So the war on drugs is nothing but a massive waste of resources, both time and money. All those billions, all those man hours from law enforcement agency's and all they have ever been able to do is put a microscopic dent in supply. Also as you say, prohibition causes massive damage. Firstly it puts a multi billion (insert denomination) trade into the hands of serious organised criminals. It is responsible for a systematic spread of miss information and downright lies to try and put people off using drugs. This spread of incorrect information and lies has been responsible for death and injury. Then there is the issue of purity. With certain things you just don't know what your getting from a dealer, this lies at the heart of a great many OD situations.

Also it tells people that they don't have the right to decide what they put into their own body.
