bola's good, so is kilowatts; vaguely heard of susumu yokota.

some others are monolake, murcof, helios, loess, deru, and jasper tx

South Rakkas Crew - Mad Again (Club Edit) from Mad Decent/Diplo. crazy trancehall. melting to that this friday on some larrrge soundsystem. (sadly not the recent show in TX) other Diplo tracks are amazing as well. he is quite the diverse phillyan.

thanks for the suggestions. Id highly recommend scoping out susumu, good albums include: Acid Mt. Fuji (one of my fav ambient albums), Laputa, Baroque and Symbol.

casino versus japan is also really good stuff.
warm textured layers with delay and reverb for days, over distorted trip-hop beats

(this is the first album, it's almost like a continuous set. the year is wrong ... it was actually released in 1998. this is definitely going straight to tape where it belongs)

I'll have to convert these Butthole Surfers(Locust Abortion Technician..1987) flac files to mp3, so I can upload them too. these guys did too much psychedelic drugs
