alright, r had two regular seeds which grew nice and big very quickly, and are now out in the wild. alongside them r planted a northern lights autoflower. the autoflower only has 4 jagged leaves, and the plant is very small. its been one month. r thought maybe he was watering it too much, so when he stopped, after 3 days, the plant was tipping over...

maybe i just got unlucky, but if you have any recommendations that would be really helpful.

also, r is growing some bagseed he found, and yesterday they just popped up. r was exited, except today when he looked at the sprouts, the plant has got more that just the starting leaves, but there are already two stubby jagged leaves, on both plants! is it possible that bagseed can be autoflower?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

I had the same plant tipping over problem. I fortunately have plenty of seeds, but it still sucks. I planted 15 seeds, with the intention of keeping only 5 of the strongest ones. 7 sprouted, and of those, only 2 are left. The rest fell over.

As far as I can tell (and I'm new to this, still) it can be a few things. I think in my case, they weren't getting enough light. These plants take as much light as they can get, and that's pretty important when they're young.

Another thing may have been over-watering. Young roots are especially vulnerable to over watering, it seems. They are fragile and need good conditions to develop properly.

For all the ones that fell over, I tried propping them up, but it did no good. The poor lil guys were goners.

I recently read that planting in the beginning of June is really the best, anyway. The plant doesn't get as huge, but that actually is a good thing. With a smaller plant it can put more energy into making big buds, rather than sustaining so much leaf and stem. Plus, a shorter plant has an easier time pulling nutrients up from the roots. So, if you have any more seeds left, I'd recommend planting in about 3weeks to a month.
Be an adult only when necessary.

OK guys swim has been growing indoors and out for half his life and after all the years he can tell you that he hasn't lost a good seedling in 8-9 years Big grin

ok to start

starting seeds:

plastic container (small round take away 1 is fine)
unrolled cotton balls (line bottom of container)
tissue or thin paper towel (to cover seeds over the cotton balls)
heat mat

always keep moist and check as often as possible

as soon as seed split's and shows any part of root, plant the seed with the little dic facing down in
clone blocks or small pots with soil then place on a
$2 cat liter tray or similar then left on the heat mat

till this time you dont even need the SUN OR LIGHTS. leave in the garage or what ever..

once you get sprouts throw up a fish tank light kit or even something like what swim has set up for his Acacia seedlings + clones: https://www.dmt-nexus.me...;t=44138&find=unread

keep inside for a few weeks then take them out a little at a time and
out of direct sunlight till they get use to natural light..

Some strain's should never go outside..
Even in clone blocks JUST feed them water the first 2 week at least
then start with feeding water with low ppm (40-70)grow nutrient and ph 5.8 -6.2 is fine .

Swim's seedling's no matter on the type DO NOT see the sun for the 1st month min and when they do its never direct

hope this helps guys

ps i use distilled water at a ph of 5.9 - 6.2... most tap water i think is around the 7 mark tho that could be wrong info since swim has not checked in years

SO SO NOT TRUE! your plant tipping over was from the lack of a nutrient, even in soil some strains need grow A + B nutrient to strengthen the stem to hold its own mass Big grin

the pic is of 1 branch of a plant that was tied down and made to grow alone the ground it had 30+ heads like this 1 Wink

Nice looking plant Growmazz. What strain? I'd love to see a shot of the entire plant. Played around with tying down a little, but never really gave it a chance. Have seen some great examples of it working extremely well though. Thanks.
Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous.
