Dear all, I am new to this forum so apologies if this has been brought up.. I have recently obtained some DMT in a form of a ground down plant. I have had my first experience about a month ago and experienced some amazing interactions with spirits in my "waking state". I was too anxious and frankly, did not understand at the time what was happening to me when I closed my eyes, my friend misinformed me on the nature of this medicine. I am quite spiritual and meditate frequently, also I believe in other dimensions and sub dimensional beings. My main queiry is, in this plant form of DMT, how much should one consume to enter "hyperspace". I know I almost made it there but as Ive mentioned my fear and misunderstanding prevented me from experiencing the full capacity. I am planning on taking my "inter-dimentional" journey tomorrow while its sunny just to keep me in a positive and relaxed state. I would really love to know how much I should put into my pipe, and if I should put the full dose in at once or half for one toke then put the rest in for the second. Any advice on this matter would be greatfully appreciated as I am afraid to take too much.

I am a curious, spiritual 23 year old who has had very little experience in psychedelics but I have a strong connection with my soul and feel that love is the answer to everything in our existance. I am also very interested in quantom mechanics, I believe its a steping stone for science inter locking with spirituality.

Welcome Anubis! DMT in ground down plant form? That seems odd. Usually you would smoke a freebase extract. The stuff I've seen from people in Ireland (and unfortunately they were selling it) was red, crystalline (but also a bit gooey). If that is what you "obtained", you have some sloppily made DMT freebase.
My personal preference is not smoking it, but instead ingesting it together with an MAOI (Syrian Rue). If you want to smoke it, there is plenty of information on this forum. Have a look at the WIKI. I've built my own pipe design, which I have to post here at some point. One way that also worked nicely was using a stainless steel scrubber, cut a bit off and mix some of the crystals with it. Stuff that into the pipe and heat it up with a flame. For the first time breakthrough, put plenty in it (in my opinion).
DMT is a journey. Read about it, learn from it, start making (extracting) it and give it to friends.

Thanks for the reply Nightshade. What I have is green and looks like a few dried up leaves. I mentioned it to a friend that knows a bit about it and also says that he has never heard of it either. I am curious because it has a "plastic" smell and taste as mentioned from other users of the crystalised form. I will definetely consider extracting my own as this tiny bit cost me way too much than I had expected. I will most likely have to discuss this with the person who gave me it. Thanks again!

A plastic smell is indicates that it will probably contain some active chemical. However, be careful! I know from my Irish friends that DMT is a bit of a buzzword in the hippy/festival-people scene. Given the availability of research chemicals online, there are a lot of people out there abusing this buzz. I have friends on the Island that believed they were tripping on DMT after they ingested a capsule that was sold to them as such. However, it was clearly 4-ACO-DMT or alike, as DMT is not orally active without an MAOI. Also, some people there sell 25-I-NBOME on blotter as acid.
My gut feeling about your plant powder tells me, this is probably some research chemical mixed with leaves. If you're lucky, it's 5-MeO-DMT (yes, you can get that online if you know where). If your less lucky, it's AMT or some other (more or less) nasty stuff.

Ive found something in google images that looks very similiar to what I have. Its under a title of "unknown phsychedelic plant from Peru". But it came up when I typed in DMT Plant into Google. Psychedelic Peru Let me know what you think?

After reading about this on the net I realise that it probably is changa infused with DMT, Banisteriopsis Caapi or Calea Zacatechichi.

Ah, interesting. The image is from this post on bluelight. It's a pretty good forum too. It might be a Changa mix. If so, it's herbs infused with DMT and MAOI - apparently nice to smoke and lasts a bit longer. I have no experience with it though.

So I took an eyeballed 50mg into a pipe and took two long pulls, held them each in for maybe 10 seconds. I lay back on my bed and tried to keep my eyes closed as this feeling of heat rushed through my body. The problem was my eyes were twitching, for some reason, it only happens when I smoke this batch, and I couldnt keep them closed. So, I looked up and there I saw a few patterns, remember them "old school" blue and red styled 3D glasses? Yeah that kind of visual, they grew faint quite quickly. The dose was prob less than 50mg its so hard to tell with this changa stuff. I was a bit anxious, not before,but as soon as I took the second toke, I could have gone for a third. Im on my own here and its my third time trying it, and I only took the right amount on my first try with a friend there. I think Ill wait for some company, Ive enough left for about two more sessions, maybe one BIG one. It was a nice feeling though, I put on my favourite mantra and enjoyed the positive light.

Sounds good. Yea, wait for a friend and smoke a BIG load. No reason to be afraid. If it's DMT and you get your first breakthrough it's worth using it all up at once. After all, you've paid for the experience, not necessarily for a pleasure substance.
Maybe have a look around the forum here to find good ways to smoke this mix. A common error that people make with smoking DMT, is not vaporising it properly, and then they wonder why they get no good hit of it. Instead of hitting their lungs, it ends up as sludge in the pipe. As I said, I'm no smoking expert, as I prefer drinking it, but the steel scrubby approach was useful to spread the heat within the pipe head in my case. Put the Changa in it and stuff it in the pipe. It will glow when you smoke it.
Hopefully someone else has a good Changa smoking tip here.

All I can say is: " friggin awesome!". You gotta pack it and it works a charm. Had a great trip on it man. Definetely reccommend if you prefer to pipe in the conventional way. Changa all the way. Will get around to try it in crystal form though!
