Hello, Changa lovers.

How dry changa mix should be? I learned the difference in my long term relationship with MJ, when it's too dry, it get harsh, if it's a tiny bit wet, smoke is smoother.
have you tried to change dryness for smoother smoke?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

i dry mine thoroughly just to infuse the middle of the herbs (as the outside dries, the moisture moves inwards, saturated with the goodies), then i rehydrate.

i like it pretty wet, actually. i keep a small personal stash of hydrated changa, and the stored "big daddy" stash i keep as dry as possible.

with vaporizing, it seems that a bit of water helps thicken the vapor, and afaik all that water vapor has at least a fair amount of goodies in it.

ofc, when its pretty damp it helps to have a small dry piece of white sage or caapi leaf on bottom to act as a screen.

Can you maybe reiterate this? I understand getting it dried the first time so as to get all the alcohol or what have you evaporated out. But im confused about how to wet it, how wet do you make it>? Soaked,Lightly sprayed? Shocked Shocked

Thank you!

i just place it in the same container as a wet paper towel.

don't let the water/wet towel touch the changa, and let osmosis do the work (works well as both the herbs and the goodies are hygroscopic).

i hear that lettuce and orange peels can also work.

as for how wet i make it: probably wetter than yours, but my ratio of gunk:herb is also vastly different (my changa is like a hard ball of resin when dry, so when it gets wet it may have different properties than yours)

not soaking, just damp.

if it were cannabis, it would be just enough moisture to where it would not burn evenly in a joint (and in fact, it might go out once or twice).

yeah, lettuce works with weed very nicely, or any other fresh leaf, like mint leaves, spinach or whatever.. couple of hours before smoking in a jar and it turns out ever so slightly more wet, that's all it takes for smoke to be nicer.
i hope this works with changa as well.
