Hello everybody, I'm still a total n00b bout this whole cactus thing. What I thought was simple and straightforward turned out to be veeery confusing. Well I bought a Trichocereus "peruvianus" last year, well I'm almost 82% sure that this is actually T. cuzcoensis. I wanna see what you guys think. Either way its a killer cactus.

But the real question I have is about this guy I just bought at the farmers market. The person I bought this from told me it was a San pedro, but its way different then the other "pc" pedros they had. At first I was thinking some sort of T. peruvianus due to the darker, longer spines. But now I'm thinking it's some species of Cereus due to the flatter ribs. My other trich's are much more full in their ribs.
I've been looking at pictures for hours now and can't find any that looks like this. It's probably some mutt, but I'll give it the love and attention just like my other cacti.

The first and fouth pic are the cuzco, the others is the mysterious one

your pics always download to my pc and they are the size of the thumbnails so I cant really see em properly... But from those small pics they dont look like pedros. At least all of my pedro strains have small tiny spikes and are kind of rounded on the edge instead of being angled..

Hope that helps I know its a shitty explanation..

the pics are not good but I have good news and bad news..
good news: thats a health beautiful cacti
bad news: is absolutely not a san Pedro, the edges are far too pointed as a dead give away, its not completely uncommon for SP to have big thorns but rare, Trichocereus species generally have tan to brown thorns.
