Hi all,

I'm quite new to dmt, I have tried it few times in Enhanced leaf [peppermint+dmt], but was unsuccessful as I can't hold it in. I read somewhere that copper or steel scrub is being used to "spread the flame" so it doesn't burn the thing. I use bong for smoking. what are your thoughts about using a bit of metal dish scrub? how it's done?

thanks for all help.

Harshness is a sign of burning, keep the flame further away, and slow and steady wins the race.

so if properly evaporated, dmt vapor is not harsh at all?
if that's so, then good news.

yes, dmt vapor is very smooth. And with some experience in evaporization it is no problem to evap harmala extract. Changa is always too harsh for me, tried a lot of leafs and it was always horrible, especially peppermint.
Enhanced leaf for me make no sence, maybe when you put some harmalas on it but then i would prefer my method of evap harmalas before.

well, according to lots of people here, enhanced leaf is for "extra" xperience to dmt trip. every plant adds something to it, that's the idea behind enhanced leaf..

I will probably waste lots of spice before I will get how to evap properly, but hey, I need to get skills somehow :]

Iv herd peppermint was very smooth to smoke I was about
To head to an herb shop to get some to make some changa . Having second thoughts now lol .
Im not a fan of harsh smoke . Iv been using a machine I made and I agree when vaporized correctly which isn't difficult it's very smooth . Infact I has herd so much about how harsh it is and was pleasantly surprised about how smooth it is outa my
Machine
This is all typed from a phone with a cracked screen and a auto correct with a mind of its own . I appologize if reading my messages is like cracking a code.

I suggest , if you want to mix it with some herbs, just try a herb on it's own.. I've got some organic peppermint tea, tried that, and the smoke is so smooth that I just want to roll a joint of peppermint and smoke it! also, I have a lemon tree growing on my windowsill which blossoms at the moment, took some of those petals, dried them and smoked... probably The Most Beautiful Smoke in my life. will be mixing it with my changa for sure.

As Mustelid said, harshness of the DMT smoke can be due to not properly vaporizing, although you made enhanced leaf, which im assuming you just light it, cherry, and go? If so, hold the lighter above the pipe for 20 seconds or so to sort of melt the infused DMT down further torwards the bottom of the pipe, so when you cherry the top and start pulling, you won't initially be burning the DMT.

Also, look into a smoother set of herbs. I use blue lily, and mullein. Mullein is known to be a rather smooth herb when smoked with having lung expectorant properties, and coupled with a little blue lily, it kinda tastes like birthday cake! Mullein FTW!

Also, try smoking the enhanced leaf from a mini water bong with ICE cold water. This helps tremendously in being able to hold the smoke in, while also allowing the dose to usually be consumed in one hit..maybe two.

much love,
tat

My buddy used to pack his bowls with straight DMT extract and B.CaapiBig grin used to say that was his changa mix. But my suggestion would also be changing the mixture.

Heres a cool list of all the herbs people use:

this is a bit off topic, but anyone tried to make changa with shredded caapi vine, not extract? I read somewhere here that 25% of blend using caapi leaves or vine is enough to reach effective dose.. just wondering about smoking vine.. doesn't sound like a tasty toke.

yea, smoking cellulose (wood) is pretty harsh, if you plan on extracting vine and infusing that into your changa, that would work great, but if you plan on a decent quality of vine in your smoke, it will only get more harsh.

also, i will say that i vape changa regularly with no harshness (feels like breathing warm air, imo).

if you can smoke weed, you can vape changa without problem (with practice), as far as i am concerned.

yeah, probably smoking a tree is not that great.
anyhow, I will need to to the extract, probably will try to do ethanol menstruum and then infuse changa blend with it.

that should come out great.

has anyone tried putting their menstruum in a blender or something similar? does that speed up the process? or just make it harder to filter?

by the way, what's the lowest percentage of ethanol you can use for making caapi menstruum? I can't find any ethanol around which is more that 40%. I could order online, but just thinking if I can get away with low percentage stuff.

well you could use isopropanol, if you wanted a more non-polar solvent.

vodka is the easiest thing to get here, would it be possible to use that for caapi menstruum and then infuse changa blend?
