Maybe this idea is completely crazy but I've been thinking about it for a few days and it seems like something that may work:

My idea was to acquire gel capsules in two different sizes, encapsulating my DMT fumarate doses in the smaller capsules and then putting that capsule and the MAOI extract inside the larger one. Taking into account that gelatin capsules dissolve in the stomach in around 45min - 1hr wouldn't it be enough time for the MAOI to take effect before the DMT in the smaller capsule begins to get absorbed? This way you could have your pharmahuasca in a neat package, easily transportable and easily administered, just swallow the caps and wait.

If this plan is complete insanity or if it has already been done just let me know but if I'm on to something this could make things a lot easier.

The idea has indeed been talked about here before. And I think you are wrong about the 45-1h for a capsule to dissolve.

Some people on this forum point to the fact that with "traditional Ayahuasca", you ingest both Harmalas and DMT at the same time; so I was thinking why not trying to do the same with Pharmahuasca?

In your case, this would mean stuffing Harmalas and DMT into just one capsule.

I haven´t done this experiment myself yet - still planning to - but... if you have access to both Harmalas and DMT, why not figuring this puzzle by yourself through careful and responsible experimenting (and informing us about it afterwards)?

I was trying to figure waysto do this aswell,maybe if you could coat the capsule with salt/freebase maoi extracts of syrian rue or something? Or maybe somehow make the capsule out of the maoi? I wonder if we can for things by semi heating and placing in sometype of a mold so a capsule made of MAOI to hold the DMT? = win!

You should try it out and let us know how it goes.

Argument of tradition shouldn't be valid... many people have successfully used both taken at the same time, but plain logic suggests that if MAO enzymes are not yet properly inhibited when ingesting DMT, part of that DMT may be deaminated and thus the dose may be less efficient. I prefer to wait between dosing harmalas and DMT, but I don't use capsules - which takes out of the equation the variable time for the capsule material to dissolve.

To Jarppi, definitely try it and report back. An idea to consider was suggested by Corpus Callosum here, concerning the use of gastro-resistant capsules in order to release the actives in the bowel instead of the stomach. If I were to try your idea, I would use a gastro-resistant cap for DMT (in salt form), and a standard gelatine cap on top for the harmalas. This may allow for the harmalas to be absorbed first and still keep the dose portable in one single large capsule. But perhaps that should be another assay to follow the first.
