Thank you for taking the time to read...you didn't have to...and in the grand scheme of things there are an infinite number of "better" things you could be doing, so I am appreciative of your attention.
I don't have a whole lot to say about myself but watch me ramble anyway:
I grew up with a less then classical education...I was home-schooled up until college, which has given me what might be considered an abnormal thirst for knowledge and an equally abnormal lack of common sense. I consider exploration to be among the highest of pursuits and this has driven me to test the boundaries and capabilities of the human mind through the use of many different substances.
I have yet to experience DMT...and when I began researching I realized it was not something to be taken lightly. I am here to learn. I would like to gain as much as possible from DMT so I would appreciate your patience as I "do my time" learning from all of you, asking questions, and probably making a bit of an ass of myself in the process.

Welcome to the Nexus, . Thanks so much for that Introduction Essay - I really appreciated your humble attitude. I mean, please be yourself, but yeah, when dealing with what I heard Alex Grey call, "an industrial strength psychedelic," some caution is called for in my opinion.

Please take a good look around this place. Your hunger for knowledge should be at least somewhat sated here. The wiki has all the extraction teks and you should also see that a lot of research is going on here into things like plants and chemistry, education and harm reduction techniques. I certainly hope you will like what you see, and sure ask questions as they come up.

Personally I think you were lucky to be home-schooled.

Quite a few people come here after they already take the plunge. Like yourself I sought knowledge prior to doing so. I get a inkling that you have more common sense than you give yourself credit for hehehe

Honestly, I've avoided joining forums for a long time because most forums that I browse have a less than kind approach to newbies. That being said I'm already very happy in my decision to join the nexus. Great community and priceless info. Its a good thing I joined a decent amount of time before my 1st extraction/dmt experience cause my head is already full after two days of barely scratching the surface of what this place offers.
