Hi everyone.

This is David, I post as Entheogenic Gardener over at the Aya forums. I just replied to a thread here and realized that it was my first post, and that I had never introduced.

My only experience with DMT is ayahuasca; I have been brewing and drinking solo for five years. I grow my own plant material, I also grow many cacti species and a few other interesting bits. I am a gardener by profession, my wife is a botanist. I am especially interested in plants, their culture and identification, and the relationship that they have with chemical receptor sites in my brainRazz .

Ayahuasca changed my life. It allowed me to fully embrace everything for exactly what it is, and not be disappointed by what it is not. I drink maybe five times a year but have a daily practice which revolves around my plants.

I hopefully won't post here often. I find myself checking into the aya forums way more than I should. This stuff is just such a huge part of my life and there is no one in my "real life" with whom I can speak about it.

Well, see y'all around...

Hello Vine and leaf,

Welcome to the Nexus, Very happy. Thank you for taking the time to post an Introduction Essay - I enjoyed reading that and it was over all too quickly. Yet, I feel you accomplished what the ideal is - you introduced yourself in such a way that we are getting a sense of who you are.

May I ask, does your wife also drink aya? If so, does she find it as healing as you do?

Please take a good look around here - I suspect you are going to love what you see, given your interests in plant research, chemistry, etc. I suspect you would have a lot to contribute and I hope that you WILL post a lot around here.

Again, welcome to the Nexus.

Hi Vine and Leaf!

Totally missed your intro when it was posted, so apologies for necroposting. Good to see you here. Smile

I voted for your full membership, just wanted to be sure the mods saw it. He's a dyed-in-the-wool plant guy folks and a long time entheonut, fully deserving of membership. And a good friend of mine.

And for those who are unaware V&L is actively researching a different angle on ayahuasca. See the Caapi analysis thread.

I already asked Alice.
