Hello I can't post in the Ayahuasca section yet so i figure I'll post it here.

I've been pondering about embarking on this journey with Mother Aya for about a year now ever since my first DMT journey. I believe my intentions, over the span of a year, are genuine but I've read on some threads that not all reasons for taking Aya are best suited for her ways of teaching. I've came to a point in my life where I feel lost and don't know my path or which direction is best go. I want to look for guidance through Mother Ayshuasca's teachings but I want to make sure this is the right path finding my way in life. So I've decide to post this on the Nexus to see if this is the right way in finding it.

Also I've had no experience with Ayahuasca but I've many threads on how to go about it and another thing is I don't have a experience ayahuasca guide it's my friend and I embarking on this journey but our intentions are our own and we are seeking different things because of our different situations and and have different reasons on seeking her guidance.

I have acquired 100g of Red B. Caapi, which i have found nothing really telling me the difference between Red, Yellow, White, Black Vines etc. except that Yellow would be good for beginners but I've already acquired the Red.

Also I have 75g of Chacruna, which according to the Nexians is a more gentle and greener experience the Mimsoa which I have 50g of but i hear its more unforgiving. I'm not sure i have enough for 2 people but that's why i came here to see what you guys and girls have to say and if you can shed any light on everything I've mention above.

While there is a multitude of opinions regarding Ayahuasca, I'm of the opinion of that no intention is inherently invalid, although the dosage should indeed reflect what you want out of it. If you want to have a more fun and positive experience and just trip balls, I'd suggest going easy on the Caapi/Rue dosage, whereas if you want some serious introspection into your very being, you might want a more solid dose Caapi/Rue.

There are no guarantees, of course, but I don't think it would be a horrible mistake to at least try it out and see for yourself whether she can guide you to any answers Smile Unless, of course, you overdose badly. A good example of things going a little bit wrong on higher doses for the unprepared can be found here and here.

That's cool, really. I prefer to be around other people when I trip, others enjoy their solitude, and we don't all take it for the same reason. Tripping together is fine as long as you trust each other and can be... "natural" around each other. That is, be real. Terrence McKenna used to say that when 2 (or more) people are tripping together, culture is always the third person present. It's up to you, really, and how you feel about this person.

Having never done Caapi and only Syrian Rue, I can't comment on how much you need, but 50g Caapi should probably be enough for the oral activation of DMT according to most people who are familiar with it, even though some would recommend a little bit more.

I've also never done Chacruna, but I have a little bit of experience with Mimosa. For Mimosa, I'd recommend ~3-4g per person as a first time, if you have some experience with psychedelics prior. If not, I suggest starting at 2-3 grams tops. After that, you'll get a feel for how intense it will be in relation to how much you want out of it, and as others have said on this forum, there's no need to rush into Ayahuasca. Over time, you'll develop a relationship with her and know which dosages you prefer. But 2,5g Mimosa probably won't overwhelm you.

This is from someone who's done it only ~10 times and read about it for the last 6 months, so take it with a grain of salt Smile

Btw, here's a controversial perspective on Ayahuasca you might want to give a shot too, if you're only looking for a multitude of opinions.
"As my soul left my body, I found myself floating in a swirling ocean of multi-colored light. At the end, I could see and feel an even brighter light pulling me toward it, and as it shined on me, I felt indescribable happiness. I remembered everything about eternity - knowing, that we had always existed, and that all of us are family. Then old friends and loved ones surrounded me, and I knew without a doubt I was home, and that I was so loved." - Christian Andréason

Dude, that blonde girl is a total DMT/10.

It sounds like, from these forums, the people just dove right into it without starting at low doses or researching it. I was thinking of a Caapi Vine only journey first before I add the light(Chacruna) or drink the light and a low doses as well. Also i feel you should brew it with the people that are going to take the steps of journeying so that they have their own intentions into the brew, even though tradition says it should be done alone

I've only tripped a few times without him mostly DMT, every other time it has been him and me taking psychedelics, mostly Mushrooms, DMT and like LSD twice. I've done DMT by myself 3-4 times and LSD once. Mushrooms have always been a group thing sometimes with one other person which actually introduced me into the psychedelic world specifically DMT and the conversation developed into Ayahuasca but we've always talked about taking the big step into her world, not lightly might i add. We are very like minded beings and can talk to, just about anything, each other very deep things and at the same time we can relate.

Thanks for the insights...
