yes that is how i did it too i made the 10x cappi leaf seperately and gave it plenty of time to dry before infusing it,

for me when dosing it i just pretend it is straight up dmt as in 30-40 mg is enough for me to breakthrough with just a few puffs

I hade 402 mg 10 x caapi leaves in a cup.
I dissolved 400 mg dmt crystals in acetone in another cup and the mixed them together.

When finished the weight of the caapi leves where 750 mg.

So i guess i dont have 1:1

I think i lost 50 mg dmt because i used to much acetone and did it to fast or used to small amounts.

It was stucked in the glass.
I took the glas and putted in a hot bath so the dmt that was left melted.
Then took some caapi leaves and swirled around and soaked up the goodies that was left

Close enough for rock and roll

I have soaked 10 gram caapi leaves in acetone as well for almost 3 weeks soon.

Can i just put dmt i the glass with 10x extract with 1 gram caapi leaves or do i have to soak the 1gram leaves in the extract first before making changa?

If you want true 10x by weight you should first evaporate your extract 10x acetone onto your 1 gram of leaves, and then let it dry and weigh out 1 gram of the resulting product, which will probably weigh more than 1 gram. THEN add your dmt to the 1 gram using heat or acetone.

If your not worried about it being preciecly 10 x you could simply add your dmt to the 10x acetone you already have and add your cappi leaf in as well and mix it all together.

Guys, 10x caapi leaves is a myth !

20g of boiled leaves on 2g leaves gave 7g of concentrated leaves.
That's not 10x, that's 2.8x as pointed out earlier in this thread.

I, for one, didn't like the concentrated leaves in my changa as it had the tendency to give me the infamous "changa flu".

For a long time, I've used shredded vine as support for DMT and harmalas extracted from syrian rue, but now I'm back to leaves as they take more volume (easier to dose) and burn better than shredded vine.
My actual recipe is 1g caapi leaves to 1g freebase DMT to 100mg freebase harmalas in 40ml of acetone. Blowing on it with my intentions, it will evaporate in a few hours.

i had the same problem at first, also with water boils. The solution was simply crushing it up much more than i would have with un potenated caapi leaf. with the plant fats/oils/whatever coating each piece of leaf, its a little harder to ignite well, but a good crumble sorts it out

It may not be true 10x but it does the trick more than well enough, and assuming you filter your leaf brew clean before evaporating it you could achieve more than 2.8 x if you have less plant material and oils in your resulting water. It works great burns so nice and clean, this is the only way i will make it in the forseeable future
